It is the team that really makes all the difference. Edouard, Prashand, Prasad, Cynthia, Judas, Mithoun (and the others who I couldn't get the names) are all very very welcoming and attentive. Made us feel at home, among family. We've stayed in the Crossandra Junior Suite which was very nice. Away from al the fuss, but still close (by taxi or the complimentary transfer to and from the beach). We won't consider any other option if and when we return to Goa.
all reviews » The staff were fantastic. This is a truly friendly place where the owner is on site all the time. It was peaceful within a beautiful setting. Nothing was too much trouble. The food was outstanding, better than any 5 star hotel. Comfortable and clean rooms. We stayed at the Daffodil and it was a well appointed room, very comfortable indeed ! Five stars for the detailing. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. The excellent non obtrusive service, the relaxation and peacefulness. The tasty family multicuisine adapted to every one's need of the hour. The natural setting , like Goa in the 70ties. Beautiful colonization accommodation with excellent ambience and respectful staff who can solve every problem. Presa di Goa is a paradise on earth. Friendly staff: we felt comfortable asking them to warm up baby's milk several times a day, excellent fish curry, beef medallion, and sorpotel , very nice pool amidst greenery , loved that they were flexible with the check out time and corkage charges! Would love to visit again. The hotel offers a good standard of accommodation at a fair price. The pool area is fabulous. The restaurant is good but not good enough to eat there other than occasionally. Its also pricey compared to better restaurants within walking distance. The staff were very helpful. Clean rooms & ambiance. Good staff and place to laze around. Good library & collections of art books.(but no short stories.). Nothing. The fact that it is a small hotel doesn't allow for a large choice at breakfast, but it was ok. - lots of rain (but that can´t be helped in July) - long waiting time for food, small portions. Probably we were not quite well equipped to handle the mosquitoes which are expected in a resort with greenery. The big lizards near the pool. Internet connection was unreliable. Would've liked to have a mini bar and coffee Making service in the room! Also way too many Mosquitos outdoors , although the staff would rush with the coil etc, but no amount of anti mosquito repellent could scare those mighty mosquitoes away! Hence the couch etc outdoors were a total waste post sunset!. Some of the amenities are a little tired eg bathroom, old furniture, could be called charming. The owner altho friendly could have been more welcoming. If you want good value then I would recommend if you want to pamper yourself then go for a better standard. No gym. not closer to the beach or place of shopping. Hence you need your own conveyance. In one word disappointing!! 4Km from the beach. You need a ride whic is provided for free once a day. Food was tasteless.
