We booked a beach cottage and we got the best beach side cottage as it was right on the calaungute beach. The food was nice and catering to the taste buds of everyone in terms of variety and taste. The best i liked was the location and food. Although the entrance is a bit messy and the staff is very busy all the time. I had a pleasant stay at Estrela Do Mar as it has easy access to the beach,staff was friendly and the price was reasonable. Also there was quite a bit of greenery along the walk path thru the resort and some live entertainment at dinner in the restaurant.

Although the present staff works hard, there should be a lot more people on the booking and front desk to attend people along with a better entrance to the hotel. curtains need updated!. 2 pm checkin where usually it's 12. Ended up having to wait for almost 3 hrs without freshening up. Staff can do better.. Own shack needs more attention.. Flies/ cleanliness. wifi is not free. Nothing. Starting from the Manager to the Conceirge, the quality of training was poor.The Manager Mr. Utpal was mostly not available to the guests and unapproachable to the staff. Mr. Sikander (If my memory is correct) was rather rude to the guests. Unfortunatly due to Yatra sleep was impossible and we suggest under such circumstances the guests should be pre imformed. the cleanliness in the room. no hand towels provided, leaking roof outside room door, bathroom cleanliness.... in general, can be improved greatly. THe covers on the table tops at restaurant were bad/not cleaned. However the staff maintained clean passages. We had booked beach cottage, which was still under maintenance & paint smell. So we were moved to executive room facing swimming pool. Bathroom foes not have basic freshner and comod was leaking. Definitely not value for money. Very run down place, crowded, breakfast choice poor, no value for money, better choice available close by. as 3 females we felt very uncomfortable there, which we had not experienced at other hotels in goa or around india. whatever is said on their website about the property is not true - not right on the beach, not a large pool, no music in restaurant, no beachside restaurant. electrics were a bit dodgy no hairdryer in room have to pay for wifi rooms were really dark - not enough good lighting in there. Its not value for money at all....family room was just not spacious. I booked it online for 3 nights for 12000 and it wasn't worth at all. They were not ready to make any adjustments as they had already taken money from my credit card. I was highly disappointed. Washrooms were untidy too. I changed the hotel after 3 nights n moved to Nordest Lemon mint beach resort n loved it. Everything, I dont know why letsbookhotel.com have kept this hotel in there list. Everything shown in there website is totally fake. Not at all value for money, will never recommend others for the same. Not seen a worse hotel than this. Had booked for 4 nights but after 1 night left it and no money was refunded. No manager or senior person was availble. Village pond is better than their pool. Ambience was pathetic. Reception was like barat ghaar. Breakfast in shack next to beach was full of insects moving over food.
