The hotel is amazing in every aspect!! Very beatiful, great atmosphere, the pool is always blue, great service at the pool. The staff is amazing and hepfull. Food breakfast is 800rupees, but worth a lot, it is a buffe wide variety of indian and western food. The room is very nice! Spcace enough, great bed, silent. 10m walking from Taj Mahal!. Trident Agra is a very nice hotel, in an excellent position for visiting the Taj Mahal. The rooms are spacious and clean. The garden and the pool make it a perfect place also for families with children. The food is extremely good and the staff is incredibly nice and helpful. Definitely the place to stay in Agra!.
all reviews » The Trident was a great property close to the Taj Mahal. It was very inexpensive (we were there during the off season) but the service and food were outstanding. The rooms are a little older but nothing to complain about. The pool area was wonderful and in the evening it was filled with people. The location is excellent close to the Taj and is an oasis in Agra's chaos.The room was comfortable with an excellent view of the pool. The staff was extremely helpful and the cuisine excellent. The chef Ashutosh is a gem! Overall, an excellent ratio quality/price. Very beautiful hotel, and professional staff and service.Breakfast is outstanding. Location is also perfect, close to Taj Mahal, and Red Fort, and train station. Room was clean and comfortable. Nothing!. Nothing, no views of the Taj from this hotel but that's not a surprise. In all other ways it was great. Bedroom furniture was a bit old... Felt the cost of wine/food was a bit expensive considering we where in India,we stayed in two other hotels whilst in India so fair comparison,plus the pool needed more loungers. The food and drinks at the restaurant and bar are quite pricey. Would have spent more time there than to travel out to dine and drink. Better if wifi is free..lol. It seems to be a family resort. Great if you have (baby)kids. Loud American guests who were rude to staff. It is a tour group mill. Staff is harassed and returns the favor. Dining room can't handle the traffic. Food quality and choices are not so good either.
