All of the reception personnel were extremely gracious and helpful. Nothing ever seemed to be too much trouble. They answered questions, confirmed tours, made phone calls to check on things in other towns, made great suggestions about places to eat and buy things, and gave directions to get around. It was they who made it a stress-free trip. Takk. The staff were so helpful especially a girl called Linde on the front reception her knowledge was unending as were her patients.

The breakfast bar was excellent and the hotel staff very helpful and friendly. rate per night is a a bit expensive.but hotel staff was really kind.breakast was good as wall. I have stayed here twice. Both times the reception staff has been very helpful. The breakfast buffet is very good and plentiful. There are several public spaces throughout which are great for small discussions or meeting business contacts. It is a convenient location for downtown. The bar is good for a casual evening meal and very good for solo travelers. There is wireless internet throughout. The hotel was very pretty and the hotel rooms had wooden floors, which is much better than carpet.warm water. The staff were friendly and helpful, and the breakfast was good. Reasonable value for money. We stayed several days in Reykjavik there are a lot of other hotels i.e. Center Plaza which are same price and offers much better rooms and service.the room was a little hot at night, but all you had to do was turn the thermostat down and open the window and all was fine. The yelling in the streets could be heard inside..not hotels fault. shower room and lavatory sink was too small. the room we got (2 floors) has no curtain in the living room.When it came to paying for the room there was an error made, although it was not entirely the staff or my friend and mine's mistake. They charged the room to the wrong credit card, and were unable to cancel the transaction. Perhaps there was nothing they could do, but there was no real apology offered nor any compensation. they should pay more attention to the roomcleaning particularly under the bed!! also other hotels provide tea, coffee, juice and cookies + free internet and Movies round the hour!. The room service was average. Next time I visit Rekyavik I would opt for a 4 star hotel. poor breakfast.
