Simple old fashioned Eastern European hotel in an excellent location with a sunny balcony. The hotel staff was very nice and kind although they didn't speak english. I was travelling with my dog, I liked that hotel allows pets without charge.Positioning v/s lake. good secure parking. Central location. Very good location, close to promenade and Balaton lake. Not a brilliant breakfast. There is no airconditions in rooms. Telephone too. Noisy! Street noise, cleaners noise. Had to wait at check in for morethan two hours after having asked been asked to wait a little bit. Thebathroom had toilet smell.Non exixtent cleaning of rooms, the bathroom was never cleaned in 10 days time and smelled awful. Poor ventilation in both room and WC. Very poor breakfast with no hot dishes or real juice. The breakfast staff was unfriendlyThe sheets were 60cms shorter then the beds, witch had a very uncofortable matras, through witch the metal springs were very prominent. Very small and humid room. The bathroom smelled awful when taking shower (Old eggs smell) - fungusin bath tube! Lack of ventilation in both room and wc - there was nooption to open the window. Sheets shorter then the beds. Price -> 60 eur-> we paid by credit card, hotels xchange rate (as per hotel price list)between eur/huf made it 66 eur (they earn +10% only on unfair curencyconversion)! Never again. 3 stars? How?. Decrepit old and dirty rooms and forniture, TV not working, no windows and no air fan at the WC, staff was terible, towels stinks as well as sheets, terrible breakfast. You better stay home or at the bus station in Sìofok!!!.

Travelling information
Arrival by car from Budapest:
Take the highway M7 up to the exit "Siófok Kelet". Follow the route 70 straight onto "Fö utca". Follow this street until you see a soccer playfiled on the left side. There you have to turn right onto "Kiniszi Pál street". At the corner you will see the "Csardas restaurant". As soon as you turn right onto "Kiniszi Pál street" you will have to cross some train tracks.
Arrival by public transportation:
The main train and bus station are in the city centre of Siófok. When you arrive at the train station do not take the main exit. There is another exit, which leads you to the other side of the tracks. Follow that one and turn immediately right onto "Indóház utca". Follow that street for a couple of meters. Turn left onto "Kiniszi utca". Walking distance is app. 5 minutes from the train station.
When you arrive by bus, just go to the main train station ( which is app. 50m from the bus station away ) and look for the underpass. Then continue like mentioned above.
