The food is sensational. Chef Victor Varga is seriously good. The monastery is a quiet retreat with comfortable monk cells that have been converted with mondern furniture and bathrooms. A perfect place for a relaxing weekend in an enchanting atmosphere! Everything is top-level: service, cleanliness, food and room design. I strongly recommend having a dinner at the monastery, the experience won't be full without it.

Very nice town to stop on the way. We were traveling with motorcycles so parking in inner yard behind locked gate was superb. Rooms were comfortable and clean. Elvis (I think it was Elvis) playing background on breakfast was also nice. -

Very comfortable hotel. Not far from Buckfurdo (10-12 min walk, 4 min by bus cruising from hotel for free). 4min walk to the nearest supermarket. Food is good, wifi is good, the room is rather big.The black cat of the hotel is charming :). It would be better if the staff speak English. Good and kindly personal, breakfest and dinner too, lunch isnt good. In hotel is welness with pool and whirpool and several saunas. To the spa Bük can walk about 15 minutes or by free bus.

Why stay at the Austrian side when you a few km away can have a wonderful panzio and save a lot of money? Great setting in a historic town. Great starting point for wine trips to Deutschkreutz or Rust am See. They have good restaurant (not haut cousine though) and you can have a wine tasting in the garden area. Nice and helpful staff. GREAT omelet

The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast (included with the room) was incredible - a delicious and fresh "made to order" full service meal with lots of choices. The secure parking for our car was terrific. And "beer garden" area was very pleasant (we had just drinks and didn't have a chance to try the restaurant).

A pleasant place. Apartments are exceptionally comfortable - two large rooms, comfortable furniture, a kitchen, a large bathroom with shower. The rooms are well ventilated, it wasn't hot. Price/quality for a perfect holiday.
