  Room was spacious and clean but quite basic, however no complaints. Please beware there is no air conditioning which might be a problem in the high summer months. The walk into Gyongyos town centre takes approx. 20 minutes.   Hotel Opal is clean, new, roomy, walking distance to the historic town centre of Gyongyos. Staff are professional, caring, friendly, helpful. Price was very favourable. I recommend it to people wanting to visit the highest mountain of Hungary to stay here and drive the short distance up- it's very clean, roomy and new. Rooms had a fridge too.
