We had an excellent stay at the Budapest residence! It started when we arrived terribly late as we were caught in a snow storm driving from Krakow and did not arrive until 2am. The concierge (I believe his name was Peter or Paul - sorry!) Was so friendly and greeted us like we arrived at 2 in the afternoon! He happily took us to our room, showed us around and even went to the parking lot around the corner and waited for the guy to arrange a space for us! The flat was very open and spacious, dec.
all reviews » The apartments are equipped with everything you need for a short vacation or a long stay. The metro station is 5 mins walk away, as are the starting points for all the tourists hop-on buses. It is located within the gozsdu court where there are nice cafes and bars around. The artists market is also fun to walk through. The staff helped us with information on the sights and transport and even got us discounts on some bookings. Great brand new apartment on two floors for 4 people with 2 bathrooms and plenty of space. The location is amazing if you want to visit the city in the day and also experience Budapest's exciting nightlife, there are many bars and clubs just below the apartment. Super friendly staff they're gonna do their best to make your stay unique. It's hard to believe all this comes at that cheap price, Budapest is great!. It was wonderful! We booked an apartment for 4 persons and it was just perfect. 2 toilets, fully equipped kitchen, bathroom with bathtub (and shower head, but no shower curtain might be a bummer). At the office they were friendly and helpfull. The location was perfect, in between bars and restaurants, but it wasn't noisy cause we requested a room in the top floor. The best place in Budapest I ever used during my trips to this city. I will definitely choose this place for my future visit. The location was excellent, right in the middle of a street filled with restaurants. Not far away is where all the hop on hop off buses start and the shopping street. Also within walking distance to the hanging bridge and sights like st stephen's basilica. We stayed in appartment with 2 bedrooms. The venue is good and comfortable, all needed stuff for cooking is available. The batroom and toilet are separated, which is good when company stays. Staff at reception is very helpful. The location was central however we did not anticipate the variables that come with its location. If your purpose for renting accommodation is to sleep during the day and party at night, this is a perfect location. The apartment was in a central location and the facilities were great. Downstairs there was a lot of bars and resturants which was convenient. Close walking distance to public transport links and tourist sites. Everything was fine. Everything. The situation of the Synagogue Apartments in the center of the city, not far from the Metro, not to far from the Duna.. Miss Reka (correct name?) was the most helpful lady at the Reception desk. Central location in/close to a street full of bars. Apparment was quite clean with a nice kitchen and separate toilet and bathroom. More pillows or plump ones is really the only thing I would improve on. Nothing. Nothing. Can mention only couple of minuses: 1. The weather in Budapest was really hot when we stayed there and the fact that conditionning is additionally priced was and unpleasant surprise. 2. The windows of our appartment were on Kiraly Ut and it was quite noisy starting from4-5 a.m already. Loud pounding noise permeated this apartment located on the 4th floor that made sleep impossible. The noise of the bars on the ground floor continued until the early hours. At 6 am, more noise. Simple conversational noise was amplified in this hotel. I would never return or ever recommend this site. There so many others to choose from. The area can be noisy until well into the night (2am sometimes) so if you are a light sleeper it might bother you. Its the price you pay for staying near the entertainment hub. Air conditioning cost extra and didn't work well, no hot water our second day. It was a little hard to find reception, the building were numbered from another street, so 2 building is almost at the end. But it wasn't a big issue. too difficult to find office and stressful for driving car around hotel building because address mistakenly indicated in hotel regulations , it is not Boa street and your should ask someone about true adress, car parking too expensive and if your want, were cheaper city places for cars around hotel, more, impossible to pay by credit card but in hotel regulations is. The cleaning staff does not enter the buildings every day. We had these drunk neighbors throwing up in the elevator and it took 2 days to get the elevator clean. We went up on the stairs, well, we could use some more work out after a long day of walking around in Budapest :p. There were many bars exactly below the apartments, so it was noisy even after midnight. Also there were no shutters to the windows, only dark curtains, so if you have problem with the morning sun, you will probably be awake from the sunrise. Not an easy task to find the place. GPS leaded us 1 km further down the street. quite a few sign around. Aircon wasn't included (5€ per day extra) and noise precluded leaving windows open overnight. Signposting to the office could be better... Both very minor issues. The air conditioning didn't work so it was very warm. It was hard to find a location, nobody around speaks English. It's only the entrance from Dob utca but the actual location insige the passage. Just enter from Dob 16 and look from your left side, someway in the middle between Karoly utca and Dob utca you will see the door and from right side the name The Synagogue Residence. a bit noisy take the earplugs they offer at the check in. Couldn't get the air con to work / no remote but I'm sure if we'd have asked about it it would have been dealt with right away (we were just lazy :P). No continental breakfast. It was very noisy during night time (friday and saturday). Sunday there wasn't this problem anymore. I liked every thing. the hot water wasn't so HOT!. No downsides. noisy area at night sometimes; washing machine didn't work properly. Tv in hungary language. The apartment was just above a passage full of bars and restaurants and was kind of noisy in the night. we had a hard time to find the office. need a larger sign. Nothing. - Aircon was broken - Shower could be a lot better. nothing special. A little bit noisy at night. Could have been slightly better equipped in the kitchen area, small sharp knife, milk jug, grater were all things I looked for, and scissors would have been useful......... You can not find the location very easy. hard to find noisy. The rooms were not cleaned as for our own standards at home. For that reason: 3. No instructions for TV and for coffee machine. Only one small towel per person. One bed was not clean. We asked miss Reka and it went o.k. Noisy Kiraly Street in the morning. Despite the fact that I asked for a quiet room, I did not sleep well during my stay due to the noise in the streets (bad isolation). I was told that by the end of April this will be solved due to new windows. After my stay I got some compensation for the nuisance. Internet was very slow at times and several times it did not work. Reception was difficult to find. I was told that they are working on all this and improvement is foreseen. Bed and sofa-bed could be more comfortable.

Please note that in case you need to apply for a visa before travelling, the reservation will be forwarded to the appropriate consulate. Please also note that the air conditioning is available from June to September. Extra charge applies, and it has to be paid upon arrival. Please be informed that the total price of the reservation has to be paid upon arrival, in cash. EUR, HUF, GBP or USD currencies are accepted.
