all reviews » So the hotel is really good and absolutely value for money (we've payed 180 EUR for dbl room for 3 nights with breakfast). There is a sauna, jacuzzi and mini water pool in wellness center and opportunity to order massage with discount. Good comfortable bed, jacuzzi bath in bedroom,tea and coffee facilities in the room, free Wi-Fi. A lot of restaurants and big market are very close. Airport transfer is 50 EUR round trip. Staff is really helpful. Breakfast is really nice and you can order hot spe. The hotel was not far from the end of the metro (10 to 12 minutes), close to the famous market hall, and plenty of restaurants. The hotel staff spoke English, some better than others. The hotel is in a side street so the room was quiet even with the windows open. The room was clean, comfortable, the bed was a good size, had WiFi, a computer, and a TV with one English channel (news). The breakfast was included when I booked, the breakfast buffet offered a great selection and set us up for the da. Excellent location, close to the market and to the down town. Very friendly and helpful staff. The wellness (pool and jaccuzi) is excellent. It's open till 9 pm and you can enjoy your swimming in a small pool with strong pressure jeds (feel you would swim in the sea) In the restaurant you get 20 % discount from the al' a cart menu. Premium location: just across the street from the Central Market, 5 min walk to Raday street with many restaurants and bars, 15 min walk down the Vatci utca to Vörösmarty. During weekends you can park free on the streets around the hotel (1-5 min walk away - depends on how lucky you are). Very clean hotel, friendly staff. Free IR sauna is a nice bonus and it is open till 9 pm. We just loved this hotel, the staff were just fantastic and friendly. Not only reception but also the lady who cleaned our room was just beautiful. Also lady in the breakfast room said she would try to make me these special scones for the next morning, she kept to her word and made them for me. That's what I call special service. I would recommend this hotel. Location is excellent, on a quiet corner street with Vaci Utsa, 5min walk to the Big Market and plenty of restaurants & bars ("For Sale" is highly recommended!). Pleasant rooms. PC with flat screen, WiFi everywhere, good breakfast, and most important - staff that doing everything to please you. Hint: check for special menu at the breakfast - it is free!. All staff very welcoming, helpful and attentive throughout our stay. The hotel is ideally located very close to the Danube and within easy walking distance of the city centre, and excellent transport connections to all the "Must See" tourist attractions. The Hotel was superb in everyway possible incredibly clean luxurious comfortable well positioned for everything and the crème de la crème was the staff from the cleaners the waiters and the receptionists were the top of their profession if they could do it they did and with smiles excellent manners a credit too themselves and their hotel. Electricity noise in the room 605. Bot not really anything to complain. A very minor dislike. There was a kettle and cups and spoons in the room but no coffee, you can buy individual sachets cheaply at the reception. However they only had 3-in-1 premixed coffee, milk, sugar. Not liking sugar or milk, a cheap jar of coffee from a tesco got us through. One of the two beds was strangely soft & uncomfortable. Bathroom needs renovation - shower was rusty and leaking (probably we got this room because we payed the last minute low price). Simple breakfast, 20 min before end of the breakfast there was no bread left, we had to ask the waiter to bring some and wait for it. Only thing was it didn't have a shower door or curtain. They didn't seem to worry about water on the floor so didn't turn out to be a problem. There is a place for more diversity in breakfast menu. But this is really a minor issue. Sadly the swimming pool was out of action during our stay, but the jacuzzi and sauna were perfectly adequate for our needs. Lift was a little 'cozy' but we never had to wait long for it. There was nothing at all. No curtains on the showers. Wi-Fi was a challenge, so my husband spent a bit of time down the hallway fishing for the signal to receive and send emails. Rooms are smaller but still very comfortable. Swimming pool is a 2m long plastic basin with rather too much chlorine. A bit of a disappointment. Superior single room was quite small and only just practical, with a lack of sockets for charging various devices and a musty smelling shower curtain. Would go back, but would take a double room next time. Problems with parking..Far to go to deliver car.Poor welness and spa facilities. The breakfast is definitely below par as much of the food was put out day after day and started to look very tired. Also there is no shower curtain so it is difficult to have a shower without flooding the bathroom!. My room was small, but very comfortable. Charging extra for tea & coffee bags is something we have not experienced before. Even a small charge is not worth a negative critique?. nothing. Nothing. Nothing. booking was changed one hour before we arrived and we did not get satisfactory accommodation. Roof windows were not sealing and we had to stuff bedding into window to cut draughts. Lift is very small.Dinner not cooked properly and we had to send meat back to be cooked. The restaurant was very small and food service was slow even for Europe. Shower wasn't great, it was set up as a wet room but didn't drain properly. The pool had too much chlorine. parking facility. Tea and cofee should be provided in the rooms at no extra cost. TV didn't work as there was no signal. Nothing. No negatives. Poor tv reception, confussing tv/computer system. thought restaurant dinner was quite expensive.
