The staff were extremely helpful with everything - booking taxis, information, etc. From the moment we arrived to departure, they were always on hand to assist. The location is ideal with access to all areas on the doorstep. The rate for a central hotel with such service was excellent. We could not fault this hotel and would strongly recommend it to travellers. I have stayed at the Hotel Pest in the past .... I especially found Susan, front desk, cheerful attitude refreshing each morning ... a little beam of sunshine.

Two small windows in both the rooms had no curtains that blocked out the light. We hung towels over them to stop being wakened ealry by the morning light. Room was spartan..needs another dresser. Air conditioning didn't work well. Breakfast was ample but mundane.The bed should be bigger. air conditioning did not really cope with the heat. There is not really non-smoking room. My first non-smoking smelled like cigarrete and the second non-smoking had an ashtray. Only one improvement I would recommend: the breakfast choice was a bit limited, the cereal and breads were getting a bit stale. Air conditioning was ineffective. Carpet was marked. Breakfast was same each day- should be varied more.there's no character, rooms are boring, hotel staff is uninterested, breakfast is worth missing, and it's overpriced.
