1. Localization- city center, close to restaurants, touristic atractions- amazing restaurant at the same street- opposite to the one with buffet. 2. placed in an historic building( do not pay attention to the entrance;-)) 1st floor with no elevator but not a problem. 3. very helpfull and taking care receptionists.4. all reviews » The staff at the guesthouse were very friendly and informative about Budapest. The rooms were big and bright and cleaned every day. It was nice and warm inside (which made a big difference when it was snowing outside). There was a wide variety of different food options at breakfast, so everyone is catered for. They even organised airport transfer to/from the airport. I stayed here with my mum and she couldnt fault the place. We both loved it! :). It was a real pleasure to stay at the Connection Guesthouse. Situated in the very center of Pest it features simple yet elegant design and really welcoming home atmosphere. Jonas, the host running the hotel was very warm, friendly and helpful. The hotel is an unbeatable value for money. Very friendly staff and great customer care. You have everything you need in the room, including a hairdryer, an IKEA cushion for your laptop, a small fridge/minibar and a personal sink to wash your face in the morning (so no morning queues in the shared bathroom!). Very central and close to the opera house and the deac ter. The very good mensa restaurant is only some blocks away. The guesthouse is clean and shipshape at all times. They do a great job and have a lot of info about budapest that is helpful. Highly recommendable. What a lovely place to stay! It's in the city centre and the hotel is great! I tried room 9 (nice studio with mezzanine) and room 4 (smaller). Both are "inside" the building (courtyard oriented) and are cool and peaceful... no airco needed :-) Excellent location to explore Budapest and enjoy night life!. Everything perfect for this price. The bed is okayish, but pillows were a total disaster: very thin and not comfortable at all. Otherwise, no issues. Unfortunately there was no airconditioning in our room. And when we had the windows open it got really noisy because the hotel is situated in a street full of bars and clubs. But ear plugs fixed this problem for us!. We had room oriented to the street (it was quite noisy at night when live music was played across the street). Our room had no air condition (only fan) and since there was a noise outside we couldnt open a window. Some rooms could do with some freshening up. There is no air conditioning, so beware in summer. Some rooms are rather small, but they are offered at the same rate as the larger ones. The mattress is a little bit too old, springs make sounds every tiny move you do :) I booked a transfer Airport-Hotel and it was confirmed, since my flight had almost night arriving, but when i landed there were not anyone waiting for me to pick. After 25 minutes of waiting i realise that tharnsfer is failed and took a taxi at the airport. Staff in the hotel apologized, but i still did not hear a reason why they did not send a car to pick me. Nothing. Hard to find parking place by hotel, but hotel has a private parking space nearby. A lot of pubs in the same street, noisy a bit. The rooms faceing main street are very noisy. Only stairs to get there... take a backpack or be trained to carry your heavy luggage. Bedding could be improved...
