Loved the hotel, clean, warm, friendly, excellent value for money, sort walk up the oppisite road takes you to the metro, where you buy a 24 hour ticket for little money, this allows you to use the tram, metro and buses all day, brilliant. Excellent travel, 1 stop to shopping mall, 3 stops to bridge to Buda and the palace, indoor market is an ewsome experience for any visitor to Budapest. Room was very comfortable and well furnished, especially the kitchen, the hotel staff were very professional and helpful, plus we were offered a free upgrade from the double room we booked to an apartment when we checked in because one of the hotel guests decided to prolong his vacation. Definitely worth the money...

I enjoyed the pool and sauna very much indeed and the proximity to the Metro station and town centre was ideal for getting around quickly and safely irrespective of the time of day or night. Everything was good, very kind and professional staff, all facilities,the fitness room with sauna, swimmingpool, jacuzzi, the apartment bigand nice, the esay parking zone, the bar!. The staff was excellent. The value was great. We requested they get us a chocolate cake for my son's birthday and the cake was beautiful. Very prompt service1. From the begining to end all was OK. Also, the sattelite channels are few and boring with little movies. In term of location, the hotel is a good 15 minute walk to the nearest subway.the decor, white walls and old wall to wall carpet make it feel to bare for a 5 star hotel, the breakfast room is very plain, the location of the hotel is not very central, half an hour walk to the city centre. It would be nice to have cafe on site to have use of for meals/snacks. Breakfast could be better. difficult to get the minibar filled (with oranje juice, water and coca-cola light!). The bed and the pillows were really hard - like rocks ! But everything else was superb. tv programmes especially the kids channels were limited.The poll was a litlle bit cold. INternet was expensive.Changes of the sheets. Location was not central. The kitchen equipment is a bit dirty esp. the knifes and forks but which are indeed acceptable. The decor fixtures and fittings were such that you could have been anywhere in the world. A "Hungarian" entity was not at all evident.Not very easy location if there is no car. Bigger variety in breakfast offered. the hotel haven't a restaurant .Poor breakfast for a 5 star hotel. Few staff at reception. This place has absolutely nothing to do with a 5 stars hotel. Location is about 20 minutes walk from the centre and nearest metro station 5 minutes, neighbourhood not so nice or safe looking.Towels was dirtyandbroken, kitchen in the closet was broken, tiny tv, noisy, airconditioner very loud (not possible to use during the night because of the noise), we get smoking room even requested non smoking..
