Excellent staff service very informative love the buffet breakfast. The Hotel and Staff were great. I felt very comfortable and safe. Its proximity to the city and the sports center in Providence. The staff was excellent. Everything was ok . I like the location especially when coming from airport and visiting family on west coast. 1. good food. 2. friendly staff but not in casino. 3. taxi service.
all reviews » I like the location of the Princess Hotel also breakfast was good. The staffe was very friendly and tried to accomadate within their limits. Breakfast & view was amazing. liked the pool and dinners. staff were friendly and helpful. gift shop had what i wanted. well stocked. Accessibility to and from airport and City. Location to town good. Rooms good size. Breakfast Pool Elevator. I like the idea that the hotel offer until I got there was something else. 1. At the time of my stay the pool was closed for cleaning and I was a bit upset at the fact that it was a big weekend where other tourists/guests were staying and couldnt indulge in same until I was leaving on easter sunday 2. the shower once set on hot water only it kept shifting to cold water 3. upon my arrival the reception area smelled of cigarette smoke. I did not like that we were hotel guests and had to be checked by Security everytime we had to go to the Casino. I think guests should be more respected. Each time I went I had to open my pocket book to show security what I had in it. For women, I believe thats invasion of privacy. Building has serious cracks on the 3rd, 4th, and 5th floors which need to be addressed as soon as possible. The beds were not changed for the entire week. They were made not changed. Should be changed at least once during stay. Need a place to hang clothing or pajamas. Also need two way mirror in the bathroom. When I booked online is different from when I went to the hotel and one of the staff member was two woman call and said one price then turn back and call again a next price I said can I speak to your manger the said no manger hear I think it's was rude also I think the should have smoke free part of casino thank you so much. There's not much that I did not like being from Guyana it's pretty much what I expected. 1.too long to wait for hot water in shower, I complained on this on my last stay at princess in nov 2011, 2. shower curtain to light, it blows back on your wet skin after showering which makes you feel very uncomfortable. 3. needs to update door locking device. 4. carpet in hallway has a bad scent. The pool was not working and no information what so ever, paying all that money to stay at the hotel and cannot used the pool. I did not just go there to sleep. So sad I think you guys need to do something about it, I looking forward hearing hearing from you all what compensation I can get for not using the pool. The swimming pool was under construction!. The cost was $150 per night with non working pool - never posted it on thier site. Bathroom water was backed up everyday leaving an odor in the room. No hot water. Need to leave the shower on for 20mins before the water gets warm. Cannot use the phones in the room to make calls. It was difficult to get through to the hotel. didn't like the room, bed was to low, tv was small, shower water pressure was low, toilet had problems flushing, room furniture need a facelift, for a fairly new structure the hotel is run-down, lacks maintenance. Musky smell of the hotel. Images of poor maintenance. Rooms were not booked on one floor even though we were a family of 9. Pool not available until 4 days after we arrived and we were not notified of this. Hallway carpet smelt stale. Manager very unhelpful. hallway had a terrible odor. location to far from town. I didn't like that the pool close at 7pm, my kids was very upset, I didn't like I order food for the morning when I was leaving and no one had any idea about it, I don't think they have communicate at the hotel.... No answer is the same. I paid more than what they quoted online.
