  The Hydroussa is excellent value for money. The breakfast is very good with a variety of choices. The staff is cordial and in Greek fashion efficient but uncommunicative. The location is excellent being removed from the busy port. The courtyard is extremely pleasant and a great place to relax. This is my second stay and I would recommend the hotel... what people say » to friends and family. - Everything, from friendly and responsive personnel to the tidy, elegant and spacy rooms. There is a terrace in front of the hotel where you can have breakfast or sit with a laptop. The building is a three-minute walk from the port, but it is far enough to stay away from the busy area. I passed eight nights at this hotel and I would certainly stay there again.

  This was a well taken-care of hotel, stylish and the manager was very polite and helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Our room was spacious considering the small rooms that are usually available in Hydra and had plenty of sunlight and good view of the mountain.   Friendly staff who helped guide us around the island and allowed us a late check out. Room was very clean and comfortable. We did not try the breakfast. Great terrace for views. Very relaxing. - The set-up of the rooms were very nice, clean,close to the port, and the hotel itself was good value for the money and the hostess was friendly.
