Superb breakfasts with lots of choice and extras like the small pancakes deep fried and served with honey and sesame seeds - delicious. Meals in the restaurant were fantastic, again with lots of extras and a new dessert to sample every day. The staff were very well trained, courteous and took the time to talk.   Good place in the heart of old city, close to almost everything. Nice rooms, clean & quiet place. Perfect choice for those, who want to stay at Rethymno for a night or two - This was beautiful and the best place we have stayed yet. Location was fantastic and the staff great. The room was devine, large, well appointed and just beautiful.

  The owner was very nice and helpfull, position is great, very close to the center, but you always find car parking. Nearby you have supermarket and good restaurants. - The balcony overlooking the sea and views of the town and harbour. We could walk to the town and facilities. The shop was well stocked with what we needed.

  We received a very warm Cretan welcome from Kiria Chryssa and her daughter Galia who spoke excellent English. The room was very spacious and spotlessly clean, fresh towels and cleaning were provided every other day and we had fresh sheets in the middle of our stay. We also enjoyed the mini menagerie consisting of numerous hens, (quiet ones too) a small herd of goats - very friendly hoster, good location, quiet place (appartments and beach - both), very easy to reach Retimno' center. Location was amazing too - convenient for bus station and right in the quieter and beautiful streets of the Old Town. I hope her plans for restoration of the rest of this mansion are fulfille - Everything! We stayed in the maisonette and it fitted the bill perfectly, all facilities provided. Our hostess went beyond the call of duty and her staff could not have been more pleseant and obliging. The location was perfect for us to explore the town without having to walk miles and bearing in mind we were there for the Easter celebrations we were in a fairly quiet area. Thank you Katerina, Chrisoula and everyone else.
