  First of all Aspros Potamos is a really wonderful place to stay. We stayed there for 8 days and really enjoyed the peace and quit in the valley of Aspros Potamos. The beach and the village of Makry Gialos are about a 15 minute walk via a small road through olivetrees and small vegetable gardens. The facilities are good, normal shower (very tiny stream), - We stayed for 8 days at Aspros Potamos and we loved it! Really where we were looking for, something different, in nature, with a lot of silence and calmness. Birds singing all day long, the sound of the river and reading a book. On the other hand there a plenty things to do, walking to the beach, restaurants and shops in 15 minutes or walking the Pefki gorge.   The staff were extremely helpful, both before and during our stay. Welcoming and unobtrusive - Close to town, two air-conditioners--two rooms, big elevator, friendly staff.. A beautiful pool area overlooking the sea. Always found parking along the street. My wife liked the room!
