Very nice location within the Plakias village with beautiful sea view and at the same time a quiet place providing privacy for a truly relaxing holidays. Cleanliness of the place and the personal touch of the services. flexibility and helpfulness of the staff. The hotel is located just outside the main resort, which means the only noise is the crickets :) , yet the beach (even the best part) is only a short distance away; the room was pleasant and with a beautiful view, clean, everything in working order; the hotelier was friendly if somewhat given to mumbling to himself, he even drove us to the bus station in his pick-up truck when we were leaving. all reviews »
Very quite place. Nice owner. Good breakfast at the beautiful terrace. All rooms have a sea view and wide balcony.recently renovated; spacious, bright and clean rooms; good and quiet location with sea-view from the balcony. renovated, clean rooms, beautifull view, calm location yet close to the restaurants, close to the beach. Really just a minor squibble: the maid kept stuffing my things into drawers when she was cleaning the room; i.e. pens, books, or whatever I'd leave on the table or nightstand. I *like* having stuff lying around. reception staff not very friendly. shower curtain, shower box would be more comfortable.

The village Plakias is on the south coast of Crete, in the region of Rethymno which is in the middle of the island and makes it easy to visit the other parts of the island, the gorges, the mountains, the archeological places and the rest of the natural beauty of Crete.
Very close to Plakias is the historical monastery of Preveli with its palm-river and palm-beach, many other wonderful beaches with clear water surround Plakias and are a perfect place to see.
