Everything that I had read in previous reviews is true and more. From the moment that we arrived Lefteris, Stavros and family made us feel welcome. By the end of the holiday, we felt like we were family. Nothing is too much trouble for the family. Attention to detail is paramount so the rooms and grounds are immaculate. all reviews » We spent 12 days in Sept 2013 in this location and we can say that everything was more than perfect. We are very lucky to discover the wonderfull location at Anastasia Princess in Perissa. The two brothers managing this hotel, Stavros and Lefteris, are very friendly, helpful and ready to help every guest with information about region, history of island, villages. They are making you feeling like a family member. The hotel is very clean, very quiet, close to the beach (100 m) and to restaurants. Lefteris and Stavros, the brothers who run this hotel, are so helpful arranging transfers, day trips etc and letting you know the must see sights and best places to eat on the island. I stayed in the new part of the hotel. The rooms are beautiful and clean, with all the basics for self catering and the swimming pool is divine. The beach really is 1 minute away and the bus stop (easy to get around whole island by bus but we hired car for a day to get to Ancient Thera, Akrotiri, Red Beach etc) is. This is a fabulous hotel, do not hesitate to book! Stavros and Lefteris the brothers who own and run the hotel - and they are really are hands on owners - are absolutely charming and make every guest feel welcomed from the moment you arrive there. That welcome extends throughout your stay and they are brilliant at arranging trips, taxis, restaurants etc. The hotel - we stayed in apartment 40 - is picture postcard pretty, with so many perfect touches of detail, and spotlessly clean. Stavros & Lefteris, the two brothers who own the hotel greeted us on arrival and from that point on we felt like friends, rather than customers. Hotel is located at 5 min walk to Perissa beach in ver quiet area with two swiming pools and lots of flowers in the yeard. Actually we used an apartment for four people. It was very nice, convenient apartment in old part of the hotel Apartment with own terass. We had daily cleaning and change of the towels, bed staff etc. This family owned hotel is well maintained with very fri. It's an amazing hotel owned by Greek family: mum, dad and 2 brothers. They were always so friendly, helpful and hospitable and what for us was the most important - they helped us a lot when we asked to have tours from them, they gave us some suggestions. They always explained us how to go to different places by public transport, which places would be better to visit and etc. Location was also perfect, appr. 2-3 mins to the beach. Swimming pools, rooms and the whole territory were always clean. . We stayed in the brand new accommodation. The rooms were a good size and were tastefully decorated. The standard of the apartment was excellent especially the shower room. The pool area was great and very stylish. There is no pool bar by the new pool but the other pool is a couple of minutes away. The family that run the apartments are nice and friendly. The brothers in particular are very helpful and will book car hire, transfers and trips but are not pushy. The kitchen area is small but adequ. Greek hospitality and facilities at its best. We had a large brand new studio room. The hotel had 2 very stylish pools very modern, spotless facilities at a very affordable price. It also has a pool bar and an excellent stylish breakfast area. The owners 2 brothers and other staff went out of their way to make our stay enjoyable. They were always available for anything we needed. The facilities were 1st class. I think this is the same for anywhere you stay on the island but you will need a car if you plan on doing anything other than sit on the beautiful black sand beaches. The bus will get you right to the hotel but the bus is often late and sometimes does not stop. There is nothing that I did not absolutely enjoy about Anastasia Princess. Not one bad thing I can say it's perfect!. It was quiet when we stayed so this didn't affect us but there was a sign about no ball playing at the pool and quietness around the pool. Perhaps now that there are two pools one could be for games and fun while the other for those who want peace and quiet. There was 4 of us, one bed was a fold up one, it turned out to be very comfortable but for teenagers we felt a proper bed would be more appropriate. nothing, it was perfect!!!. There is nothing to dislike !. cannot find anything. I would have loved shower gel besides the liquid soap, as every hotel I go has shower gel also in the bathroom. There is nothing I didnt like about this hotel. nothing. Nothing. Bedroom was not separately air conditioned. So you had to keep door open and sacrifice privacy for comfort. Nothing.
