  Wonderful location, just beyond Pelekas village, a lovely spot with beautiful views & lovely sunsets. We booked a larger room & facilities were perfectly adequate. Swimming pool delightful. Staff really helpful & considerate, with the senior staff speaking fluent English. Very good menus in dining room. Buffet breakfast very satisfacto... what people say » ry, including fresh fruit, yoghurt, cold meats, cheese and a good choice of breads. Would love to go back some time. - Charming staff. Good-sized light bedrooms with balconies and marvellous high-up views. East-facing rooms look across the island to Corfu town and the mainland and have morning sun. West-facing rooms look over the tree-clad coast and the sea and have afternoon and evening sun. Beaches are a short drive away, or a hard walk back up the hill to the hotel.

  We enjoyed a large apartment with 2 balconies and sea views. Naftis is 50 metres from the sea and the beach is delightful. We ate in the Naftis restaurant a couple of times which was good value and tried a local taverna twice. The first time the meal in the taverna was top class and the second time it was a big disappointment - such is life.   I have been to Greece for many summer vacations but this was my first time in Corfu. There is a lot written for the island and the sea so I see no reason to repeat it. We stayed at akis apartments(konto-gialos). Details about the garden, beach and furniture can be seen at their website, so I just wanted to share how happy we felt for being welcome... what people say » d and treated so well during our stay there. To make a long story short, we felt as we had visited the closest family. Thank you, kind people! G. Stan - Everything Absolutely great experience. Beautiful garden,hospitality,the view,the sandy beach nearby. There is mini market where you can buy things to cook. Highly recommended !!
