Location, location, location. We had a room with balcony overlooking the beach. Although the room was small (also had a single bed) and a bit cramped, it suited the two of us. The Studios had a lovely bar and seating area, where guests could get Cocktails for 5 Euros. Breakfast could also be bought there and was fairly substantial. Costas was very helpful and Housekeeping cleaned the room everyday and supplied fresh towels. Lots of cafes, bars and restaurants right on the beach and the cen.
all reviews » The location of the hotel was perfect for a bit of relaxation. We had a ground floor studio which opened onto an open courtyard leading on to the beach. The room was large and had a small kitchenette. We genuinely were able to unwind here and our only regret was that we didn't stay longer. Ideal location for us; right on the beach and just a short stroll into town. All in all, we just had a fantastic time. Great people working at Kalergis, nice clean rooms, good bar food and drinks...just a great place all around. The location was perfect - right on the beach. The apartment was nice and big and the patio area was brilliant and we spent a lot of time out there. It is an easy walk into the town. The kitchen was good and well equipped. Staff were excellent, rooms were clean and tidy, right on the beach, excellent cocktail bar on the beach, good for swimming and close to town and port. Would recommend this place if you want to relax and take the pace off. The location was perfect, you can not get any closer to the beach! On the whole, had an enjoyable stay. Nice room with balcony looking out on the sea and the small beach in front of the hotel. I've stayed in many Greek hotels over the years and am used to finding beds that are hard and generally uncomfortable; the Kalergis is no exception here. The beds were extremely uncomfortable so little sleep was had in 3 nights. You need to pay to use the lounges on the beach which isn't a problem however it maybe a good idea to advise customers when they are checking in as there is no signage on the beach itself and the impression is that they belong to Kalergis Studios. There were sun beds on the beach just infront of the studios but unless you got up early to bag one you had missed out for the day. Was mid July so I suppose peak season.,. the beds were not comfortable. they provide a kitchen but it is not stocked well- no washing up supplies- we had to go and buy a big bottle and scrubbers and were only there a few days- quite a waste- also nothing to dry the dishes with. we asked for a twin room but got a double- the bed was very small and we didn't have a great sleep- the next night they gave us a stretcher bed (we had asked the previous night but it didnt come)- with only a light sheet. Satellite TV didn't work on hardly any channels, do didn't watch it. However, why would you exept to catch up on the news, when you have such a lovely location . Not much - one thing I would say is that the beds are a little on the 'firm' side. Not a thing. The balcony could ave used an umbrella. Kitchenette a bit sparse e.g. it didn't have washing up liquid or a tea towel, or an egg flip. The bed was to hard for me. I didn't sleep verry good. That I couldn't stay longer!. Nothing!. Nothing to say. Reception Hours are awkward. Hotel did not provide beach towels. Had to either being your own or purchase. Also hotel did not have chairs on beach, So had to rent for 8e per day. Theapartment is supposed to be serviced, but only beds made, bathroom cleaned and foors swept. Concidering ou ar right on the beach, at least a broom could be supplied tosweep up the inevitable sand. Coffee spills on veranda was only cleaned on after 3rd day. The rooms were very noisy, could almost literally hear what the people next door were saying. Well, they rented our room and put us in a smaller room with a small full bed.. I rented this room in jan. We arrived june 24th.you would think they would get it right.the room was supposed to be on the second floor,we were on the first.they ignored my complaints and said this is what they had left. Why bother reserving a room you want when they do what they want. I will never stay at this place again.
