It was the best hotel I've stayed in for a long time and by far the bestI've stayed in Greece. It's a nice coquet hotel with all you need andwith wonderful service! We liked the way we were treated so much, weended up buying a small gift for the owner! It was great!!!! Go there,you won't be disappointed !!!!. The location was very close to everything. The hotel is decorated so lovely and is very clean. The owner is very considerate and the breakfast was very good. We felt special being there and they were very helpful providing information on places to eat and go. Beds so comfortable. We loved it.
all reviews » A good welcome, help with parking in a very congested town. Traditional house, well restored and with atmosphere, right in the centre of Nauplion. Very comfortable room and we enjoyed the balcony. Good variety of choices for breakfast and friendly service. This is a fantastic little hotel. Very clean. Spacious rooms. It is a little tricky to findso make sure that you have directions from the owners before arrivingin Nafplio.A little hard to find at first, simple once you are in town for an hour. Small very personal establishment in a great location (old Nafplio is very pretty and a favourite holiday destination for mainland Greeks). Easily accessible from Athens by car, but also several buses per day via Korinth at very reasonable prices. Once there several important ancient sites within easy drive, or bus/taxi. Would recommend.It had a familiar, warm atmosphere. The bed was comfortable and more soft than most beds in Greece.No complaints. Breakfast could have started before 9 am , although I am sure they would have done this if we had asked. ( If you are visiting nearby popular sites such as Mycenae you need to be there at 8-30 before the crowds!) Although in general the breakfast was excellent , we would have liked local cheeses rather than a processed one but this was a small quibble when there was a variety of alternatives.Breakfast starts at 9am which is limiting if (like us) you need to leave earlier. However if you ask in advance they would probably do something earlier. It has no elevator. Parking area (at least a more realistic one) is farther from the hotel than indicated.
