all reviews » The staff were all extremely nice, and professional, and made us feel comfortable and relaxed the moment we set foot inside Cavo Tagoo! We especially loved Maria from the concierge desk, who gave us a great lowdown on Mykonos island (things to do, recommendations, etc.). We also LOVED Gregory, who worked at the pool bar. He made us feel right at home, and was BEYOND helpful with everything we asked for. He was extremely personable, professional, warm, friendly and just a huge asset to the resor. This is by far the best hotel we have ever stayed in. It was luxurious in every respect. The staff were absolutely amazing. The food was beautiful. The rooms are so spacious and beautifully decorated. We had our own pool which was awesome. We will definitely be making the trip from New Zealand to go and stay at Cavo Tagoo again. We spent one night in the hotel. Since we arrived all the staff was very friendly and helpful while wainting our room. They upgreded us from a classic with to a stunning suite with private pool.. amzaing view and terrace! If the pool were to be heated just a little, this resort would be sheer perfection!. The temperature of the private pool was too low and in combination with the wind was very difficult to have long bath in the pool. I wish the gym had a few more things as far as equipment... But really that's all I have to complain about because the hotel is perfect. Only regret the fact that we rented a car and have even had a flat tire and the company representative at the hotel told us that it was our responsibility and we would have to pay the tire. And so we did , although quite upset . There wasn't anything I didn't like. Nothing!. no. I would suggest a selection of pillows for guests. Easy to do and makes a difference. If you want to walk to the city, you have to walk on the road, there are no side ways, a little bit dangerous. Though, there is a shuttle at the hotel to take you to the city. No complimentary water. The high price ..... Very slow room service. Not so spacious villa for the price. For example, the donkey statue in the room takes up space for nothing. Not so private pool (especially for muslims). Well nothing serious: a bit noisy at night from the people using the stairs just outside of the room... perhaps soundproof doors are needed for some rooms? No user's manual for the safe box. The service not good. During the time we were there, the water in our private pool was too cold.
