  I got a nice room on the top floor with a great view and a large balcony that even had sunbeds. The location was great and I could easily get to the harbour and the beach. The staff was very friendly and familiar and gave me suggestions about trips to do, restaurants to visit etc. The room had AC but I didn't need to use it once since I had a nic... what people say » e breeze from the ocean. Everything was great and I look forward to visiting Samaina Hotel and Pythagorio again. - Petros the Manager was very friendly and helpful in all requests.His knowledge of the island and local tavernas and places to visit was good. Ceiling fan and air conditioning made the room very comfortable in the heat. Pythagoreion has excellent restaurants and bars surrounding the old port and a good selection of shops catering for every need.

  The reception staff was very friendly and helpful. The view from the balcony to the lower part of the hotel with the pool, beach and sea was great. The breakfast buffet had a good selection and eating on the terrace was also a nice experience. The terraced beach is situated in a wonderful cove with crystal clear water. The staff was friendly, the bathroom was amazing! and the grounds including pool, restaurant, beach bar, beach facilities, closeness to town - all made this a beautiful resort.   Lovely and kind people specially Maritsa herself. Thank u for everything.. The free shuttle bus to town.. The view and pool are just magic .. Check the sunrise over the Med. sea is priceless - The staff was very polite helpful and friendly. The whole place was very good. I would like to travel there again.   2nd time we stayed at this hotel. What we like about this hotel is that it is very peaceful (at least in june, might be more crowded during peak season), and it has a very nice beach (glicorisa beach). We think it is the best beach on Samos, quite but peaceful and well run and very lovely. I recommend the premium rooms with jacuzzi on the balcon... what people say » y. It is a perfect hideaway for couples who wants a peaceful and relaxing holiday. Taxi into pythagorion costs only 7 eur, return trip 5 eur. Pythagor - Great staff, very attentive and we were very looked after. The location is also serene with great views of the ocean. Our room was cleaned daily and the surrounding and general ambience of the hotel was coducive to a great, relaxed holiday. I will be back for sure!

  We liked the place! The position it's very good, very closed to the centre and a perfect position coming from the airport! The rooms are clean and quite big. Our room had a nice and small terrace with a nice view on the hills. The owners are very kind and hospitable! I will recommend this place for a short stay of a couple of days. The room had a simple kitchen & fridge. The location was easy to find from the bus or airport, directly opposite the archeological museum.

  The owner went out of his way to help us solve a problem with our ferry. We had to stay through the afternoon to catch the next one and he let us stay in the well maintained pool area which has a beautiful view of the country side and the sea. All aspects of our stay were top notch.   Perfect location in a tiny quiet street but just a few paces from the bright lights and bustle of the waterfront. The terrace was a great place to sit and work, read or just enjoy a drink. Kitchenette facilities meant I could make drinks and light meals or snacks -- though with everything so close, it was tempting just to go out all the time! Alth... what people say » ough there is no Internet at the hotel itself, nearly everywhere on the harbour offers free wifi -- I actually preferred this for a working holiday as - the hotel is in the center of Pythagoreion, in a wonderful position to visit the island. The room was cleaned every day and was very big and nice. The owner of the cafè near the hotel is very kind, and she helped us to speak with Mrs Kalliroi, and even called her at home when we had some problems (unfortunately Mrs Kalliroi can't speak english). You can find cafès, restaurants, car rentals and shops just few steps away from the hotel, and it's also very close to the airport, and quite close to

  This is a real find. The owner, Despina, was so helpful and went out of her way to make my stay comfortable. She even brought a welcome ouzo with mezedes to my room right after I arrived. The room was homey and there was a nice balcony with lime trees and a table and chairs. A 3 minute walk to the main street. George and Maria were great hosts, and the food at their taverna was easily the best in town. Breakfasts were a delight, with home cooked bread like my mother used to make!
