  We just love this hotel and its staff (owners and all other staff). To say that they are nice, kind, helpful, friendly - it is like say nothing. We felt there just like at home! Those was our 4-th time in Greece but first time we just cry at the end because we would like to stay longer (best would be forever :) ).   We spent 12 days at the Hotel Peli and enjoyed our stay all the way through. The hotel is very clean and just a few meters off the beach. The family running the hotel is very friendly. We also enjoyed the breakfast and hanging out at the very large and clean pool. Kissamos is a great base for doing day trips to different beaches or to the mountain... what people say » s.   We really enjoy the stay. Room was extremely clean e wide with balcony. Hotel well located for visiting all the most beautiful nearby beaches. Abundant and various breakfast, we also gained some kg, with a beautiful view by the sea. The view from balcony is not the best you can probably get, but, believe me that, compare to the rest, it is really nothing. My wife l - The location is good, close to the sea and downtown where there are restaurants and little shops. We received a nice big room with kitchen and balcony. The staff (Polish lady) was very nice and friendly. The breakfast provided in the restaurant nearby (The cellar restaurant) was very good, we also took dinner there and it was excellent, with reasonable prices and very friendly owner.

It is not a main tourist destination as Xaniá or Réthymno, but in a way it's a relieve to see locals around, normal supermarkets, normal fruit shops, a... what people say » bit of normal life, not just shops for tourists! Plus it's a great base to discover the west of the island, especially with a car! - A nice small hotel.
