While the central beach is just 50 metres from Corinna Mare, a small private beach is right at the edge of the pool. Three local villages (Galatas, Daratsos, and Stalos) spread out within a 2 kilometre radius, giving the guest a taste of the island.

The property is beautifully maintained with lovely gardens and the pool areas, bar and restaurant are adjacent to the sea with great views of the area. It is well located to supermarkets and other restaurants and is either a short car or bus ride to the main centre of Chania. With the facilities we were able to cook for ourselves when needed.The bed and pillows were very comfortable. The staff could not have been more helpful and even advised of traditional local restaurants and checked to see .
all reviews » The whole trip was just lovely and I wouldn't have changed a thing. My previously holiday-shy boyfriend loved everything about the holiday and especially the restaurant (Corinne Star) in the grounds of the hotel. It was the best of the restaurants we tried in both Kalamaki and Chania. The staff were very hard-working, warm and helpful. The beachside setting was beautiful, westward facing so you can enjoy the sunset while eating dinner at the poolside. Really hoping we can come back soon :). The staff, from the moment we arrived, went out of their way to help us get settled and addressd any issues we encountered immediately. They were also very helpful advising us on how to get around the area and made suggestions for places to see and visit. The restaurant, Corinna Star, was wonderful and we felt a part of the family by the time we left. The warmth and hospitality of everyone at the hotel and the restaurant made our stay exceptional. Two amazing pools Great friendly staff who went out of their way to help before we even got there! Facility's were excellent and above what you would expect for the stars this hotel has. Has a private beach with a small pier that you can have a romantic dinner on. Next to a very nice sandy (public) beach. Rooms are great value for money, clean and great for space with large balconys. Exellent location, swimming is better then in a 5-star hotel, good for snorkling. Very clean pool, small but deep and without chlorine. Very good restaurnt run by extremly friendly and competent Yannis. Highly recommend to eat there. Food and view are fantastic. Exellent value for money. One of the best vacations we had. The day staff were the most helpful we have met. The location is absolutely amazing. We miss the in house restaurant as it was the best and also most reasonably priced food we ate. The wild beach very nice, with a lot of fish (best for shnorkeling). Large and comfortable room. Everything is very clean. The very good pool. Good location for traveling. The staff was extremy friendly and incredibly helpful. Good location, friendly staff, good breakfasts. Great place, straff and restaurant. - Everything was ok. If you use a gps the address is not easy to find, so more detail is needed, however it is on the main road from Chaina but the signage is not huge. Rooms are rather basic (but generally good for ther price and big). View may differ drastically - some of them (not many) even face busy road. Others have unobstacted sea-view. Ours had sort of side sea-view. Anyway, you don't have to spend much time in the room and you get a lot of sea view during the day. We had to give our passports over at check in whereas we usually would keep them locked away. They weren't offered back to us at checkout and I had forgotten they had taken them which resulted in problems back in heraklion and 8hrs driving back and forth to collect them. Nothing to tell. Room was very basic. Hard beds. Beware, there is no beach at hotel, it's rocks. Nice public beach right next door on other side of the point. Hard bed Lack of benchtop and drawers at kitchenette. Our towels were changed after 3 days, and the shampoo and body wash were never refilled/topped up during our 4 days. You can access the sea via a small step ladder but there is no beach. A key selling point on the hotel photos was the private dinner table at the end of the dock, however the boards had been ripped up and all that was left was the frame. -The mattress was too hard for my back.
