The hotel is very very beautiful with the best location you can have in Santorini. We rented a Junior suit, with private jaccuzzi and it was just wonderful. Amazing sunset from your terrace, very nice bedroom. The owner is a ver nice person. The price may be a little too high if you do not book in advance or if you go in Summer time (depends on your budget). all reviews » Villais villas is perfect. Our host Loukas bent over backwards to accommodate our every need. The suite was clean, modern and comfortable. Breakfast is provided and contains fruit, fresh bread and something cooked, a great way to start your day. Imerovigli is a 20-30 minute walk away from the capital (Thira) and has a couple of fantastic taverna's. It is one the most beautiful spots on the whole island and I would absolutely recommend it to people considering a break in Santorini. The suite was. The location was absolutely breathtaking, with views of the sunset over the islands from our porch on the side of the mountain. The staff was very attentive and friendly and accommodated us by setting up transportation to and from the airport. They provided clear tourism information and had a rental vehicle brought to the location for a day trip. The location is just far enough out of the tourist areas to be serene, but close enough to easily walk to restaurants and to get around the island. - Fantastic location in Imervogili, right in front of the Caldera/volcano view. Its far better to stay here than anywhere else in Fira as Fira's crowded and noisy and doesn't have a view from as high up as this hotel's location. - The staff is very friendly, 100 marks to them for the way they treat customers. - The breakfast is legendary, which I cannot explain with words here. - We preferred a place with an indoor hottub against an outdoor jacuzzi (open to public view). - My wife and I highly . The views are truly breathtaking and I don't believe could be bettered anywhere on the caldera. Loukas was an exceptional host as others have mentioned. He contacted us shortly before we arrived and arranged all our airport transfers. If was such a treat to have breakfast brought up to your balcony every morning. Simply could not have been better. From the moment we arrived at the airport we had a perfect experience. Smooth pick up and transfer. Our bags carried to the reception and perfect friendly service for the whole week ! When you arrive at the hotel entrance the view of the caldera is jaw dropping ! We had a studio, again with the same stunning view. One of the best places I have ever stayed and I am very well travelled. Lukias is the absolute definition of perfection in regards to hotel customer service. These villas are much more secluded than most; others have pathways invading their privacy whereas here you feel like you are in your own world. The beds were a tiny bit hard but nothing major. Nothing. Maybe the price can be a little bit lower. Each cave house should be put in a wifi transmitter. Beds a bit too firm for us. Would have been nice to order food/ snacks to our room. We booked the Junior Suite with outdoor Hot Tub. But they have two same price rooms but different size and settings. You´d better contact them which kind of room you will have before booking. The staff (except) the cleaning lady was not that friendly and passed the terrace several times a day to check the pool, to water the flowers,... it was impossible to have any privacy. I can not recommend to stay there as a couple! Even to dress your selfs in the room with an open door was simply not possible. If you want to cook even simple food it might be tricky as there is only one cooker plate and this one does not work properly.
