Before we came there, we had a problem with credit card and despite this Coula, the owner of hotel didn't cancel our reservation, but took our word that we will be there on certain day and kept out room :-) She all of 3 days which we spent there. Without her we wouldn't discover all secret places and best addresses! She organized transfer from the port, found for us the best sailing excursion, places to eat, beaches, rent a car delivered to hotel...Everything!!! Thank you Coula, once again! The.
all reviews » Our 5-day stay here was perfect with its marvelous views and breathtaking sunsets. Try one of the best pools in the island with sunbeds and umbrellas, where the air is sweet from herbs and nectar and birds fly over the head. Each day different breakfast us a delicious mixture of greek and continental cuisine. After the view of a man in Oia going up the endless stairs with bags on the shoulders, we understood one more advantage of hotel's location and parking. And more, try jacuzzi at the sunse. Everything!! The location was spectacular, the villa was spacious, modern and clean. The staff were amazing and made you feel special, really spoilt you. The pool area was spacious and looked over the Mediterranean , the joukouzzi also. Breakfasts were delicious and served each morning sitting in a cabana, again overlooking the sea. Absolute paradise, peaceful and a short walk to Imerovigli, short bus ride to Fira and Oia. This is the only place to stay in Santorini and has the best view of the. Koula (owner of the hotel) was friendly and welcoming. The breakfast varies everyday which is excellent as you do not get bored eating one type of food everyday. Breakfast was served outside by the pool with beautiful scenery surrounding you. Also one of the best place to watch sunset which means you do not have to go all the way to Oia if you rather spend some relaxing time swimming and sunbathing at the hotel after a long day of walking around Fira. The view from our room/verandah was spectacular. The property was well maiintained and very clean. The pool sparkled so well maintained. The walk from the hotel to Imerovigli was on a rough steep but with lovely views and well worth doing. The tavern near by. The friendlinesss and helpfulness of Koula and hotel staff. The home cooked breakfasts. The island is fantastic. I would recommend Calderas Memories tony of my friends as a great place to stay. Lovely spacious hotel public area outside of the village of imeriovigli. Better to say here than in Oia or other villages as you have privacy and space. Caldera view is great but not quite as good as staying in the villages. Good restaurants only 10 min walk away. Excellent breakfast and great service. Caldera memories is unique and deserves its top reviews. Impossible to describe here all the advantages of stay at Caldera's Memories Hotel, it was the best hotel that we visited in Europe in 2013; Very Nice and friendly reception; Amazing View from the Hotel; Great Food and Breakfast; Bedroom very clean and organized; Definitely we loved this place and strong recommend it. Great view from the terrace. The location was good, quiet and the bus stop is 1 or 2 minutes away. But we rent a car anyways. The breakfast in particular was a delight. Didn't quite like the food from the nearby taverna though. I guess here might be more windy than other parts of Santorini. The owner, Koula is very friendly and helpful. We are very lucky to be upgraded to a better room during our 4 night stay.The breakfast being served everyday is different and taste excellent. The facilities are good with huge swimming pool. I would highly recommend this to anyone looking for great value for money in Santorini!. Sea view. Nothing to say - everything was perfect!!!. The hotel gives unique feeling of nature and relaxation, but be ready to rent a car to go anywhere except Imerovigli. Nothing. - Internet is a too slow. If you are relying on the net for researching and planning your trip, you will need to do this well in advance before your arrival. The bathroom floor was always wet from a leak. The bed was very hard. The stairs to the bed loft were creaky and so was the floor so impossible to go up and down without making noise. We had no adapter for power - our fault but it would have been helpful if the hotel kept a couple to lend or sell. We had to wait until about 10.00 am next day to get one so couldn't charge equipment or use emails. Universal adapter available from Fira for eu5.00 Only from phone shop. Loved it all.Be warned that Imerovigli and the nearest shop is up a steep hill! But its near a bus stop for access to other parts of the island.There was nothing about Calderas Memories that I didnt like. I cannot find anything I didn't like. Water always leaked to the bathroom floor when we had a shower. Location is good, but maybe it would be better if it was nearer to town. Wifi signal was not good enough in the room. But it is acceptable. Nothing. No downsides. The quiet location with a short uphill walk to Imerovigli might not suit people looking for a lively hotel. However, it is a cheap taxi ride into Fira for anyone who wants some nightlife. Breakfast poor with little choice dirty pool in the evening and water cold wifi not working in the room.
