This is a fantastic boutique hotel located at the highest point of the caldera with breathtaking views - the best in Santorini. Position perfect it is just a few minutes walk to the shops and cafes of FIra yet away from the noise. Everything was perfect. The rooms are very well appointed, immaculately clean and comfortable with air conditioning. Breakfast was served daily on the deck over the caldera where you could relax and watch the cruise ships come in and boats sail by. I could not recom.
all reviews » We simply loved this hotel. Comfortable accommodation set in a perfect location with breathtaking views. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite on the ground floor within easy access to the sparkling pool. The rooms were spacious, spotless and charming incorporating all the elements that typify Santorini. Breakfast served on the patio facing the Mediterranean, a wonderful start to the day. Anthony and Pano were very accommodating, nothing was too hard for them, ensuring our stay was stress free a. The room is totally amazing.The hotel provided all facilities for example, Hair dryer, daily cleaning, breakfast, adapter, transferring etc. The most important thing that i liked in this hotel was the service. The staffs presented that they were willing to service customer as much as they can. Also, breakfast was wonderful. You can pick up what you want to eat by ticking in the paper given by staff in every morning. Just soent 6 nights there and the service was outstanding, could not fault it, superb, very personable...10/10. The views were amazing, you could never get sick of them and the sunsets were incredible, true picture post card scenery. The location was more than ideal, no steep steps to deal with and idealy located between Fira and Firostefani, easy walk to both. Truly a great luxury botique hotel...and has a pool!!. We couldn't rate the Anteliz highly enough, the service from the moment we arrived was fantastic. The Anteliz is the perfect boutique accommodation option. Antonis was the best host and really looked after us, sending us to a great beach club for the day. The owners are "in the store" so to speak! It was spotlessly clean, friendly, wonderful; the breakfast was amazing...I gained 6 pounds in one week! It was their great Greek Yogurt in the morning with fruit that did the trick :) They even had a party for their guests with free wine and food when the fireworks were on the volcano..was wonderful in every way....:). Staff warm and welcoming, extremely helpful. Helped organise our tours and transfers. Gave us great advice on what to do and where to eat. Best thing about hotel are views..amazing. The beautiful view, nice room, good location, excelent staff. Location, rooms, breakfast and the view. Location. Nothing. Just perfect !. Absolutely nothing. Nothing!. There were not quite enough chairs by the pool for all the guests..even though there were only eight rooms..the room they gave us was nice, large and clean, BUT it was not as we thought it would be overlooking the pool..it was actually on the walkway so everyone who walked by we heard..even late at night. But they were so nice we didn't even say anything...:). Nothing, really. Man, was that pool chilly!. Nothing. Nothing, everything was wonderful!. Nothing. Although our room was great, it was right next to the path to get to the main part of Fira, so there was almost constant foot traffic. Although the view from our windows was fantastic, people would stop to take pictures of themselves in our mirrored windows, which was a bit awkward. Also the "king bed" was two beds pushed together, which was fine, just not really a true king bed. Not a thing, except that we could not stay longer. Not a lot. I've slept in more comfortable beds (a bit hard) but that's about it. Although we liked our room it was the only one situated right next to the walking path so for privacy we could not leave our door or windows open as even the little curtains billowed with the wind. This made it a little difficult to sleep at night as we don't like sleeping with the AC on. If we had known this we would have requested a room up top. The shower area was too small and it could only be hand held. Pool could have been solar heated...would have got more use. Lack of privacy on patio, with pedestrians frequently stopping to look into patio, taking pictures, or entering property to look around. Simple privacy curtains on some of the patio glass would help. Fira can get very crowded depending on how many cruise ships are in port. Price is a little steep but ok. Could have more facilities such as a small gym but hey - it's only a small hotel with 6 suites after all. the fact that you couldn't use toilet paper but that would be the same any where in Fira. Nothing. Lack of privacy from passersby.
