  Went with a friend to Georgioupolis Beach Hotel to escape long British winter. Got excellent deal from travel agent, with free upgrade to a lovely pool view - ground floor. If wondering where to eat at night, turn right after leaving Marika, walk dow - Marika's is a find. It is a relatively old development of nine studios and appartments undergoing gradual refurbishment. So the rooms are much bigger than average. The location in Exopoli at the top of the hill behind Georgioupoli affords terrific panoramic views. The pool is big and 2.4m deep with a diving board - rare in newer places. Homely atmosphere.
