Negroponte takes its name from the Venetian name of the city of Chalkis. Inspired by that romantic era, Negroponte was created as a comfortable and modern hotel, resting in perfect harmony with its environment.

For business events and special occasions, the resort provides private outdoor areas next to the pool, overlooking the sea. For indoor events there are 4 multi-functional rooms, with a capacity for 55-320 people.

Negroponte Resort also provides a basket ball, tennis court and mini football pitch, all of which are floodlit. For children, there is a designated pool and play area. For further relaxation, the hotel has a separate TV room.

Important information to guests

Please note that the sauna & massage facilities are at extra charge. The outdoor swimming pool operates during the summer months. The indoor pool will be open from October 15 until May 15, and will remain closed from January 24 until February 25 due to maintenance works. Also note that the half board is either buffet style or a 4-course menu. Ironing facilities are available on request. Please note that from 24/02/2017 until 27/02/2017 a variety of events and extra activities will be taking place as part of the Carnival bank holiday.
