all reviews » Corfu is an Island. If you want to visit the main historical town, you should choose Kerkyra (Corfu Town). This hotel is located there in Kerkyra. This way you can enjoy beach but also historical buildings. The wifi worked perfectly in the room. I walked from the airport. Shower, was luxury style!! Huge breakfast buffet, with people eating more than they should. Hotel is located in a residential neighborhood, so if you arrive at night without a taxi, it might be a bit hard to find. 100 m. The location is perfect: 15 minutes from the airport on foot, 25 minutes from the center of the town on foot, the bus 2a goes from the center exactly to the hotel. There is a beach in 1 minute from the hotel but it is not so good, better go to the Corfu town, get the bus to the famous beaches of the island. The room was quite suitable and was cleaned every day. From the hotel you can get to the centre through a lovely seaside promenade. It takes approximately half an hour. The quality of the breakfast was good but not too diversified. The internet was quite fast and good. Kerkira airport is a walking distance from the accomodation. The breakfasts were enjoyable. The description of my room said that it would not have the balcony, but it didnt say, that it would not have the window!! So I was breathing only stuffy or conditioned air (first 2 minutes it stank)... So don't choose rooms without balconies!. None. the breakfast not so good (no fresh juice, bad sausages, ...). Maybe somehow located away from the city and the beach but this is no problem for people ready to walk some 100 meters for swimming and 2 km for the city walk, haha. The breakfast was not good at all: very low quality. there was nothing Ididn't like. Lack of soft furnishing creates noise in corridors. furniture in old room. No pool. Little out of the way but the bus takes you into town quickly enough and the stop is on the same street. The bar and restaurant were only open at certain times. Location was poor. noise coming from outside of the worker cutting up concrete at 9am. could of waited until later. Despite of the fact that we spent 11 days in the Hotel,we didn't get a renovated room. The room that we got was old furnished and a little bit run-downed with a view overlooking to a nasty backyard. We felt some strange smell from the air-conditioner.The staff was not particulary nice except the cleaning ladies. Hair-dryer is not included in the services of the accomodation which we found very strange for a 3 star hotel. The tap was not working properly. Do not stay in room 320. There was flooding under the floor in the bathroom so every time you had a shower it was flooded. The staff would apologise profusely and adamantly advise they would get someone to fix it straight away. However, to fix this problem you would need to take up all the floor boards etc which is a big job but we just kept on being fobbed off which was frustrating.
