  Our ferry was came in late at night and the Arhontou staff was happy to meet us after reception closed. We chose Sifnos because it is less touristy than many and we chose the Arhontou because we wanted to stay away from the water (for a change) in a quieter Greek town (Apollonia) and Arhontou was just a short walk down to the charming village. We went to Lazarou Beach (more of a cove - no sand) and had some of the bes - Overall good location althought I can be a bit of a trek into town. Pleasant to see the farms below the hotel. Everything was clean.

  Location fabulous, just a short walk from the beach; also bus stops right outside for access to Apollonia and elsewhere on the island. Staff lovely - and were extremely helpful when I approached them with questions about walking on the island.
