The staff were very nice and helpful. I don't know why other people had complained about the complimentary breakfast. We found it to be filling and varied. The room was clean and the bed was massive and comfortable. Lastly, the location was perfect because one has the choice of taking the tram into Athens or to the port, and the bus from the airport, the x96, has a stop very close to the hotel. Our stay was really an all-around nice experience.
all reviews » The hotel is very good for the money. I liked the room as it was renovated and it had a balcony. The location is good as it has the beach very close, all kind of transportation facilities and a street full of shops nearby. You will get to city center in 45 min by bus (pay attention with the tickets as it is hard to find a working ticket office) or just 15-20 min by car. Elegant, contemporary renovation design. Best A/C in Greece (central AC with on/off & temp controlled by guest). Very clean with fresh towels daily. Excellent location between south-coast beaches & central Athens. Standard Greek hotel breakfast fare was very high quality, so I don't really understand the negative review comments re: same. Nice location, near Alimos beach, tram and bus stations are minutes away. Rooms are cleaned every day. AC works very well. The neighborhood is very nice, with a lot of tavernas and coffee shops. There is a school near to the hotel and the childrens was quiet noise due to the school starting. Every day the same food (but enough). All good!. no iron in house, noise from school nearby. There was a school on the opposite site and was a bit noisy . no chairs/table in balcony. no fridge. my view was of an elementary school, playground... some mornings a tad noisy. Also a coffee maker/kettle in the room would have been nice. Problem to close the door when you iside of the bathroom. Had some problems with WiFi connection (weak signal in the room). The service in the breakfast was awful. there was only one personnel trying to serve the breakfast, gather the dishes, clean the dishes and refill the coffee. no refreshments in the room, room was showed trace of last users, breakfast choice limited.. poor breakfast, wasnt fridge at our room. The breakfast is a joke, if you eat it a few days you probably get diabetes, they serve the same cakes. Wi-Fi in the rooms is inexistent, only in the lobby. Bored stuff, never smile. We were there for 4 nights and for half of them our key card wasnt working,the bathroom was very small the cleaner never changed the bed sheets. Staff seemed disinterested. though we paid for a room with twin beds and Seaview, there's no such room in this hotel, only rooms with double bed. No information from hotel about this was received untill we arrived there. sea view - is a small piece of beach seen through tiny window. The room was small, dirty and very old-fashioned. We stayed there for just a day after we came back from an island, and before going to the airport the next day. We were quite disappointed especially because we had a great experience everywhere else in Greece. The breakfast was really poor and I had the feeling that am in the Army as we had to eat the same cheap food every day in the breakfast, the hotel staff some of them was very rude and they even don’t speak English well.....
