I highly recommend this hotel for any kind of stay in Athens. The staff is very friendly. The value for money is splendid. The location is quite reasonable: the hotel is in a safe neighborhood, and the metro station is nearby (about ten minutes walk). The breakfast included in the rate is excellent and you can have a nice dinner at the hotel restaurant with affordable prices. Since I'm not interested in swimming pool, the only minus point of the hotel is the slow speed of the free-internet acce.
all reviews » Clean rooms. Junior suite had a nice balcony to smoke on with chairs and a table. Good ac. Super hot shower water if you wanted it. Nice breakfast. Friendly staff who gladly answered questions about the area. Close to the Megaro Metro station and us Embassy for landmarks and easy travel to and from the airport. Only five Euro taxi to the Acropolis area. Good burger and rib joint right on the other side of the street when you want something easy and simple. We've stayed a lot of times at this hotel and last time the hotel upgraded our executive room to the master suite!!! The best breakfast I have ever eaten, staff very polite and friendly, very clean and spacious rooms and bathrooms,pleasant atmosphere and beautiful country style decoration at the lobby, very good location in the heart of Athens...I like a lot their philosophy of hosting!!!. Excellent value for money. Very convenient and friendly personnel. The fitness center you can use is really great.The hotel is very clean and i also liked the interior design and the room's facilities.The room was spacious and really comfortable. Excellent, large size room with very obliging staff. Promptly changed our daughters room when we complained about a smoky odour in the room. Breakfast extensive and served until 11am daily. The comfort of the rooms. The breakfast and overall the food was excellent and the prices were affordable. The staff was very helpful and always friendly. Greek Breakfast was served instead of the Continental buffet and that was a pleasant surprise and a huge difference in quality and taste. Maybe the decor looks a little gaudy with its bright yellow flower theme but it certainly is very clean and well maintained. The elevators were tiny. Hard to connect with the WI-FI in my room, always reseting the server or had to follow a procedure of login every time I had to work in the internet. Hard to get parking space near the hotel. There was also some training seminars or conferences taking place during the weekend which was completely annoying and noisy. Free wifi is weak because our room is the first room on the right side. It works smoothly when we are in the lobby. - the free wi-fi connection is quite slow and not perfect in the room. If you want a better signal you have to pay an extra. smoking is a very heavy issue in the corridors. if smoking is banned from buildings it should be banned period. The smoking customers are not the only paying customers. When we first arrived and opened the elevator door we walked in a heavy smoke smell. Non smoking regulations should be followed. Nothing around the hotel that is interesting. Closest metro stop is a 8-10 minute walk. It was noisy all night from the road. meeting of an accosiation in the morning. The room was very old. Internet is free but you need to re-login every hour and it's quite slow. The elevators are a bit small. There was a very bad smell coming from the bathroom ( room 510) I noted that the window needed to be left open all of the time and I woke up feeling sick in the middle of the night. The food i ordered was luke warm and need to be reheated. the gym is more or less a joke!. The quality of the breakfast (and the restaurant staff) was very poor. Moreover, the the wi-fi connection included in the room was absolutely unreliable. Parking. TV very small 23 inch LCD needs to be at least 42 inch for the room. No iron available, its an extra service they charge for (for health and safety reasons...). Our TV didnt work either..
