  The staff were all very nice and helpful. We wanted to Upgrade our room to have more space and were given the opportunity to look at 2 others before we decided which was great.   The owners were fantastic and were more than happy to recommend places away from the hotel. Greek nights on Saturday are an absolute blast - Very friendly, clean, and comfortable. Good location, handy for the beach and town.

  I have stayed at the Ionian Star twice, and was impressed by everything. I couldn't give them a rating of 4 (average) on any category. I never had dinner at the hotel, but there is no reason to believe it would not be less than 5. I hope that George and family can survive the current Greek economy problems, they deserve to make it.
