Mr. Sigalas is a wonderful host! He picked us up at the port and drove us to the villa. He had us laughing and feeling like we were part of the family. His two daughters run the reception and they will arrange anything you need. They were able to set up rental cars, restaurant reservations, boat trips, whatever. Every day they greeted us with a smile and asked what they could do to make our stay even better. The villas are new. They had only been open for 2 years when we stayed there, and Mr S.

What makes the Sigal stick out is the unassuming nature of your hosts, all members of the same lovely family who are always cheerful and overtly helpful without straying into the poncey attendant type operation that Santorini seems to have sprouted in abundance. They were there when you wanted them! The place is pristine, new but homely, rooms. We loved the amazing views of the Villa to the caldera. The typical cyclades apartment with white walls and blue doors make us feel like a dream, very comfortable, enjoyable and clean. Also it had a great clean swimming pool to relax. Finally, we want to thank the hospitality of the incredible Sigal family, that attended us like never before. They helped us in everything, transportation, recommendation, renting, and also checking that everything were okay in our stance. Special mention to the s. We had a wonderful experience at Sigal Villa. The location and the view are just magic! The Sigal familly is so great, helpful and willing to welcome you like at home. They do everything to make you happy and help you. Definitly the place to go if you want to be in quiet place and relax. We came with a baby (5 months old) and it was perfect. A car is needed. Cleaning is made every day and all the place is very clean. The pool is also great. The welcome was extremely nice and welcoming. This place really offers value for money, it's clean, spacious, and offers a fantastic view on the caldera, different from the view you get in the northern parts of the Island (you can see the vulcanic layers better). I would definitely recommend this hotel over the overprices options in the touristic part of the Island. Hiring a car is recommended, as Sigal Villa is a bit far from the village. We had a wonderful time at Sigal.The hotel is located on top of a hill far from the stressful Fira. THe views are the best in the island and above all the family who owns the hotel are just great. The location is probably one of the best in Santorini, away from the noisy areas, but still close enough to get to all the restaurants by 10 minutes driving. Two good beaches within 4 km (walking distance for the eager ones). I just wanna say the owner and his two daughters are amazing!!!! Although owner is always available for tranfsfers, rental car is recommended. Ask for other car rental company than Romani: old and unreliable car, very bad service.
