we came for our honeymoon and our booking was for 7 nights in the superior double room, we got a shocker when we arrived at the Root Apartment hotel!!!! we were upgraded to the penthouse!!!! Now that was a very pleasant surprise. The whole staff there were all friendly and efficient; Daniel, Portia, Cecilia, Juliana etc., big ups to you guys. The food was great but more variety please...Plus for tours around Accra let Daniel hook you up with Prince(cab driver).
all reviews » The architectural and interior structure. The calmness of the place it's ambiance with a been I good food ad courteous staff. I was indeed impressed of a first timer. I will definitely come back here. The hotel was clean and the facilities were ok. It is worht the money. The location is close to many shopping and food arcades. It will be my first choice for my next visit. Facilities were good, wi-fi was pretty consistent, Restaurant was decent for breakfast, location was really good - accessible and easy bar traffic on the main road. Staff very friendly and helpfull. Room was clean, the whole hotel was clean. Food was ok.Interior was nice Not far from airport. Osu are is a safe place to be. I love the place , perfect location. It is a bit pricey for an apartment hotel, but there are not many available of this standard so that's probably why. The bed could been about 20-30 cm longer. Epileptic internet service. POS not working properly at the front desk. Sewage smell coming from the street. Charged in US dollars/cedi exchange rate so much higher rate than predicted on UK £ conversion on letsbookhotel.com site. Staff must think we have endless cash and it needs to be paid upfront, so not good if you arrive late from abroad without loads of cash as no banks or Forex open. Service extremely slow at the restaurant at all times (breakfast, lunch, dinner).
