Loved the location. Food was excellent. Breakfast room delightful. We saw friends and family and historic sights. The staff is excellent and the food in the hotel restaurant is just great!. Large room, clean and safe. This kind of hotel offers you the comfort feeling of home with all special care you would wish from a hotel. The Junior suites are excelent. Great view and location; this hotel 'is' Heidelberg!.
all reviews » The room was very quiet, excellent location and breakfast was very good. The Hotel was decorated for Christmas - so atmospheric- straight out of a childrens story book. All twinkly lights and candlelight. As for the staff, they could not have been more helpful. A magical visit!! Special thank you to Laura who was so helpful and good humoured.Beautiful little hotel, all newly renovated, great breakfast beautifully presented, wonderful location, lovely dining room and although we haven't had dinner there, the food looked very good. Helpfull staff, court yard and ease of acess to Heidelberg.Excellent location. The suite is huge. Excellent location for old Heidelberg. Right at the Old Bridge. Great access to old town and walk to Philospher's Way. everything!. very convenient, walking distance to all facilities including laundry mat,restraunts. Dining room decor and cuisine. Location is brilliant, easy to walk everywhere and bus to centre very close. Views of the castle from our room superb especially at night.The breakfasts were good and the view from the suite was fantastic. The (free) wireless internetconnexion was poor.The room could have been vacuumed before, I found a few long hairs in the room. But otherwise the room was spacious, lovely bed and neat bathroom. need tissues in room and there was no phone service out side the area. Parking was at a parking garage (10 Euros overnight) that was a 3 - 5 min walk from hotel. Curtains were thin and did NOT help much in keeping city lights out of the room at night (bring sleeping mask). lack of parking - but that goes with the location.no bar fridge or tea/coffee facilities. Steep stairs, no lift, no designated area to unload luggage from the car. Could be noisy on Wednesday/Friday and Saturday nights, you had to shut your windows to sleep. We had requested a late check in and were advised a key would be left at the hotel next door. When we arrived at 3.30am the key had not been left and the other hotel had to give us a room for a few hours. When we finally got our key from the hotel once it opened in the morning I was advised that we would not be charged for the first night, yet were still charged €100. They placed is in a room without with window with access just to acorridor and by that no direct external access and noise by peoplepassing to their rooms and charge the same. We stayed at the same placein September last year and brought some good friends for this time.Never moore!!!!!!.
