Nice hotel, with strange fashion; room with glass doors and full of mirrors. Good and free internet wifi. Nice view on the city from a small terrace. The position, which is quite close to Hbf. To rest in "red district" was a fashinating experience - safer than it seems, being very well controlled by police. The staff were all really friendly and helpful and the location was great - incredibly close to the main station. Everything was good - comfortable, interesting decor, nice breakfast.....very good value and I'd recommend it.

Very small wardrobe, hidden behind a curtain, not easy to manage. -Narrow shared shower room -5 floors, no lift. There is no elevator, and steps are steep, so climbing to the upper floors with luggage could be challenging. Breakfast could be better. Maintenance of the rooms is not sufficient. Home equipment like from rubbish depot, Sofa seems very dirty, towel are hard and not white, some of them with holes. Far too expensive.very poor quality of the room. The steindammstrasse is not located in a very nice area. No elevator any more, very difficult to carry luggage ourself. Check your bill before you pay your bill. The street on which hotel is located. Nowhere it is said that this street is the second prostitute street in Hamburg.
