It was wonderfully spacious. Very clean and obviously consistently well kept. The area was absolutely wonderful, literally beside the Brandenburg Gate, the Reichstag and the beautiful Unter den Linden with lovely cafe's and restaurants. If you don't feel like cooking, try Dressler on Unter den Linden for breakfast. Wonderful place. Found everyone in Berlin very helpful. I loved the apartment, it was so central to everything. The facilities in the apartment were great, I was surprised how big it was and how bright and comfortable it was. The kitchen had anything we wanted, the TV and Stereo were very handy, good to listen to music in the evening and keep a check on the news. The area was very quiet at night which was an added bonus.
all reviews » Absolutely fabulous value for money, under e30 per person per nite, apartments huge, 2 double rooms, large kitchen, lounge room and bathroom and hall area was as big as another room, we were 4 girls so i was worried we would be falling over each other getting ready to go out but there was no fear of that happening in these apartments. It was very central and light and spacious. It would have been helpful to know that 2 of the rooms had twin beds and on a double bed in our flat. On another occasion when I was coming with a group we decided against it because we thought it was all double beds. In fact I know now, it would have been fine.The apartement is in the centre, handy to all the major sights in Berlin; close to transport to other places further afield. Convenient to reach from Tegel airport with a bus "TXL". Without trouble from other tenant. Everything is very clean, comfortable!. No absolutely not, have recommended them to several people already.For us it was not a great problem but some people might dislike the bathroom - it was a bit small and airless and considering the space in the rest of the place, it was disappointing. There was no washing machine - just plumbing pipes for it - and one was advertised. There was no tea or coffee jug. The kitchen lino was torn. Dont be put off by the entrance hallways, they are a bit run downlooking. There were no mirrors in the bedrooms. There were not enough clothes hangers. No internet. the cold weather!. you can only check in at 2pm, would be better if could be in the morning. but they were very nice and offered to keep our bags in the shop. This may be an american thing but it would have been nice to have screens on the windows. All fixable... One bed in the triple room had a broken bed frame. Guest put mattress on floor to sleep. Bathroom was very dark and toilet area did not smell very clean. Refrigerator freezer door was missing and our food and drinks froze through the night. Fruits and vegetables were ruined.1. The scarcity of plates and glasses (in an appartment for 6 there were only 3 wine glasses and 3 water glasses). 2. In case of reserving a two bedroom appartment, but mentioning only 3 guests, then one of the bed-rooms is verily a bedroom for one person - very small and gloomy with one small bed for the same price that a two double bedroom costs. 3. 10 o'clock in the morning is a very early check-out time. Really was a factor to consider a different hotel. A deal with local breakfast place would be nice. A previous occupant must have been a smoker. Strong smell of smoke meant we had to opened all windows each time we came back to apartment. The web site erroneuosly states that the internet connection is present in the apartments. When first entered the apartment could tell that some smokers have used it or could be that carpets have accumulated different smells, but once we opened windows and sprayed air freshener it was more or less ok. We never located a grocery close by (although we didn't look very hard) so that we could take advantage of the kitchen.the water pressure was a bit low/ cold water didn't really work. yes there was a lot of noise from the apt below. No, we would recommend it. We arrived very late due to flights. We picked up our keys from the local restaurant. I think it is tricky to arrive very late. During normal hours I do not think there would be any problem.Bathrooms are small.

A deposit of 100% is required in order to receive the key outside of reception hours. Please note that it is not possible to store luggage at the accommodation after check-out.

The Unter den Linden S-Bahn (city rail) station is nearby, as is the stop served by bus 100 which passes most of Berlin's key sights.

Travelling information

By car: Exit the A100 city motorway at Kaiserdamm and follow the signs for Alexanderplatz. Drive past Ernst-Reuter-Platz and Siegessäule (Victory Column). Turn right in front of the Brandenburg Gate, then turn left immediately into the Behrenstraße. You will find the apartments’ Servicebüro (administrative office) at Behrenstraße 1b. By public transport: Take the S-Bahn (city rail) lines S1, S2, or S25 to the Unter den Linden stop. Alternatively, take the U-Bahn (underground) line U2 to Mohrenstraße, or line U6 to Französische Straße. You can also use bus lines 100, 200, or TXL (connecting you to Tegel Airport).
