  The owners were very kind and spoke English. Our room was very comfortable and the bathroom was fantastic! It was very modern and updated. Location was nice with an easy walk into town. We ate breakfast at the hotel and dinner one night at a lovely italian restaurant close to the hotel. Excellent location for the Black Forest, hiking, tourism etc. The surrounding area has plenty of places to eat too, lots of choice.

  The room was comfortable and spacious with a balcony. Unfortunately we couldn't get wifi in the room but could in the breakfast area. The hotel was quiet and the staff were friendly. The breakfast was good with a wide selection. - very very nice staff, good food, very nice room with beautiful view, everything is perfect there

  Very happy to have found this friendly, cozy, family-operated hotel. We stayed here for one night while driving north through the Black Forest. Even though I also speak German, I was able to communicate with the staff in English. Also had a great conversation with some of the locals over a glass or two of the famous Alpirsbacher Klosterbräu. Good restaurant too. The gyros were fantastic (it's Greek food). Our location was outstanding and we could walk right across the street to the Alpirsbacher Brauerei. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone.
