  Basic but clean and comfortable. We stayed here with our two dogs for one night en route to Italy. There was a lake close by for walking the dogs and a nice little restaurant next door for food and drink before going to bed after a very long drive. Receptionist spoke Good English and printed off our directions for our destination with a smile and n... what people say » o charge. Basic breakfast for 8 euros which was fine.   Great hotel for a one night stay with children. The owner was so happy and friendly and very welcoming. Rooms were small but exactly what we wanted. Shower was lovely and hot and very powerful. We ate in the restaurant and the food was lovely and also very good portions and it was priced very well. I cannot comment about going into Chambery as we only stayed one night so didn't have chance. I woul - Used it for an overnight stay on a long drive from Northern Italy to Paris. Had a really lovely and good value meal in the Restaurant when we arrived. Breakfast was cheap and very good. Rooms were compact but ideal for an overnight stay while travelling. Stall were very friendly even though they could not speak english very well. Would recommend.

  Friendly welcome. We used the hotel as a stopover for skiing, perfect location for a short trip to the resort the next day. One family travelling with us arrived very late and still had a friendly and helpful welcome. Breakfast maybe a bit expensive but was a buffet so you could eat as much as you liked!
