  Claire is a wonderful host and has created a very peaceful and beautiful retreat in her historic chateau. Our huge room was very stylish and comfortable - the bed was a dream. Great breakfast by the pool in the lovely garden. Supermarket 5 mins away and the interesting town of Saumur about 10 or less. Lots to see and do in the area, although we fo... what people say » und it difficult to leave and spent most of our 4 days relaxing in paradise. Would love to return, thanks Claire, it was our best stay, in 3 months of - Claire, our host, has left no stone unturned with her attention to detail and luxury. The Chateau was magnificent with a view over the gardens and pool to the Castle of Saumur. Breakfast was a superb continental with a choice of dinning in room or in the lovely gardens. We felt comfortable here and we didn't want to leave.
