Newly renovated. Niceely painted and carpeted. Pristine clean!!! Well equiped kitchenette. Close to the old town, museum of modern art, railway station and tram stop. Friendly staff. &Quot;French/continental" type of breakfast, but much better than average of that kind. Very good value for money. Really a perfect place for comfortable living, and enjoy cooking. 10 minutes walking from train station. To be honest, Strasbourg main area (sightseeing area) is small that you can walk from the hotel to the downtown in 15min and spend 2-4 hour to walk around the city.

We stayed for 5 nights and because of the duration of our stay, we were not offered a cleaning service. It was an extra expense. I did not like the shower which had a curtain rail. Only two bath towels provided for a family of four. Aircondition was not easy to figure out. Wifi was only available in lobby area. Wifi only in lobby (wired connection in room, no good with phone or tablet). Big bedroom but small bed. Sleeper sofa good. In this day and age, WIFI should be avilable throughout the hotel and not just in the reception. Although a LAN cable was present in the room, this was limiting. The breakfast could have offered a little more variety - e.g. healthy wholemeal bread and a larger selection of cheeses/meats. I am a daibetic and most of the breakfast consisted of simple sugars/carbohydrates. This doesnt mean that the breakfast was poor, just a request for more healthy variety. The only thing I didn't like was that the blanket was not clean. (very) small apartments. No hair dryer. Wireless available only in the lobby. Bring a router for wireless connection in the room, if you have an iPod or Mac. Internet only in the lobby, no TV chanels in English. Wi-fi is not available in the room, only in the lobby. The bathroom and the shower were very small, but that's typical of budget hotels in France. no WI-Fi in the rooms, had to go down to the reception area everytime we needed Internet. Our Aircondition didn't work. No wireless internet in the room! This is ridiculous in a hotel that targets business travellers. There is Ethernet connection, but it doesn't work with smartphones. In the evening, people were camping in the lobby. Pillows a little uncomfortable and cost of parking rather high. Had to ask for toilet paper (1/4 left in the bathroom and another one in the closet that was almost finished). Queen size bed only (not regular two person bed) One set of towels per room (for two people) only, pay for extra towels. Location a bit "sketchy" otherwise fine. At the time we arrived, the carpark was fully book, it was very late at night, we had to move round and round in the middle of the night to find a space on the street. We should have been told that parking space has to be pre-reserved. The airconditioning didn't work and being put on top level with afternoon sun, we complained and were shifted to a lower floor, however the airconditioning still only blew air, not refrigerated air, however, being on a lower floor, it was not too hot.
