We loved this hotel. The patrons were charming and helpful. Room very comfortable, good shower. Excellent breakfast in very pretty stone cellar dining room. Old St Malo on our doorstep. Huge thanks to our hosts for arranging extra vet appointment for Rufus on a Sunday and giving directions to surgery when our boat had to be cancelled due to bad weather. absolutly superb hotel! the staff were so helpful,you can tell that the husband and wife team genuinely care aboutyour stay and the guest themselves, gave us advice on good places to eat which weren't touristy, finding out bus and boat timetables, booking a table, its the most welcome and comfortable i have ever felt when going to a hotel.
all reviews » The hotel was aware of the surprise visit by our children for my wife's birthday and went out of their way to ensure that everything went smoothly - nothing was too much trouble. The ambiance and facilities of the small family run hotel close to all amenities was just what was required. Would definitely stay again. Everything!! From booking in the owners, and their staff could not have been more helpful, or welcoming. The room was perfect, and the breakfast excellent. The hotel looked good on the web site, and was even better when we arrived. No lift and lots of stairs for elderly parents. bathrom facilities very cramped. The floor covering to the loo and bathroom was incredibly rough and hurt your feet unless you had shoes on. Very small room and poor cleanliness. We stayed there in a busy period (and maybe this was the cause for that) but the shower had not been cleaned (hairs everywhere) and the blankets had not been changed (again hairs everywhere). We told the manager, she was very sorry and, actually, the following day the shower was cleaner.
