  Excellent accom. safe and easy parking for hire car. Loved Uzes. It was one of the most relaxing places we visited, great food and the old city was amazing, lots of happy hours wandering the area. Having secure undercover car parking was great as we had a hire car. The location is just a short walk away from the a amazing old part of Uzes.

  We had 5 nights and can highly recommend this fabulous accommodation. Our hosts could not have been more helpful, giving us tourist info and advice on where we were going each day. The breakfasts were a feast in themselves and each day Janine seemed to give us a treat, much appreciated. The room was very comfortable and we didn't want for anythi... what people say » ng. They made a fridge space available for us right next door to the room, which helped as we had been self catering and had foodstuff to keep. And o - The couple that own and manage Mas Myro (which is a room in their house) were wonderfully accomodating and supportive. Although we didn't try it, the pool was beautiful. The room was spacious and comfortably furnished. While not a four star hotel, it had more and more comfortable chairs than some four star hotels we stayed in. The bath room was modern and quite nice. Bed was a bit firm for us, but otherwise fine. Quiet. Breakfast was excellent. Parking (free) immediately adjacent to your room.

  It is as authentic a property as you will find in Languedoc. Like the Mas, Corinne, who manages the property, is totally without pretension. Despite the fact that it dates back to the 16th century, it is completely comfortable for today without destroying its unique charm (E.G. wifi, massive bathrooms, etc.) If you're looking for a place that coul... what people say » d be anywhere, Mas du Lac is not for you. It could only be in the South of France, overlooking the olive groves. As a bonus it is literally a 5 minute - Rustic charm is what I sought and I found it here within the walled enclosure of this old farmhouse. The room and bathroom was lovely but it was the grounds that created such a peaceful and romantic atmosphere. There is a very comfortable communal room with a large table ideal for taking in a bottle of wine and joining other guests. All the other guests were French and their welcome led to a memorable and entertaining evening. Re local restaurants don't hesitate to seek the advice of the hosts.

We were able to walk to and from Uzes on the bike / road pathway indicated near the Bon Bon factory. Explored Uzes, Laussan and ate some wonderful food.   Good location in old town near market square, nicely decorated large clean room, excellent breakfast. Assocciated restaurant also excellent (top fois gras). Uzes is charming, but more 'touristy' that we expected. - Beautiful interior, like an art gallery - quite lovely and interesting.
