We stayed here on our last trip to Paris in 2007 and remembered it favorably. We came back - that may say it all. This time we were returning from a cruise; previously we had been touring France in a rent car. Both times this was our final stop in Europe before returning home. convenient to Charles De Gaulle airport. Free bus from train/plane. good bar, reasonably priced. Excellent restaurant, although not great choice of menu. Reasonable wine list but not cheap. Good breakfast.
all reviews » The facilities were all that we needed for an overnight trip while in Transit. All of our needs and requests were accommodated. The buffet dinner was excellent and good value for money. The rooms and premises were spotlessly clean and the staff was amazingly accommodating! The shuttle was also very convenient. Perfect place for those wishing to stay near the airport. The close proximity for getting to the CDG airport early the next morning. It was good to have a very good complimentary breakfast that mornng also(rare for French hotels, it seems). Free round-trip "black-bus" to & from CDG T1 & T2 can be availed every 20min as many times as you want. Local bus stop close-by for trip to giant Carrefour few miles away. It was about 10 minutes drive from the cdg airport. It included free wifi and breakfast. The room was clean and we liked the two single beds arrangement. It would be a big help if the choices were made clear when booking. nothing except they had trouble finding the reservation which somehow was manually recorded and not on their check in computer - so was a little unsettling for a while as it was midnight arrival for us. black bus was not timely. The soundproofing of the rooms is perfectible. No internet working, parking fees, resturant very expensive for food served. The space of the room is small. Just before arrive with your car in the hotel parking it happen to hit the corner of the road edging with the front right wheel. Limited choice on the breakfast buffet, no warm items. Charged 15 eur for a dinner, the Manager lady did not help me with a vegetarian meal request, all were curt and evasive, separate charges for different items in dinner not explained. Far away 2 paris. comunications with CGD. No Tea in room. small rooms. not quiet in the night. No way to regulate temperature in the room. Only 60 degrees outside but eighty inside. Able to open window but being close to an airport and on the service entrance of the hotel, it was quite noisy. Rooms very small. No fridge in room. Location. So-called courtesy bus to airport comes with a charge, and is not very frequent. Most important -- pay attention -- this is not the IBis you can walk to from the airport!. Staff at breakfast could be aloof and rude at times. I didn't like the fact that the room was offered as a double room on letsbookhotel.com but on booking it suddenly became a single (I went back...still double) and of course I was charged extra which rendered the booking through you quite irrelevant! No vegetarian options as such in the restaurant. We were given the wrong instruction for the Wifi. The navettes are not frequent enough!. Towels were thin. Shuttle bus was terrible . We were lucky to get on it when we did it many others missed out. With so many hotels in one area servicing the airport a more efficient and reliable system is needed. You could easily miss a plane because the bus is too full and too slow and irregular. Staff do not speak English to communicate, they are not helpful. For my requests they advise to browse on the internet.. no warm meals on the breakfast, no eggs.. The location is far away from the city.... Noisy room (401) due to badly fitting window which let the aircraft noise in at 4am. So limited sleep. Food was poor and overpriced. Very few facilities in room. Air con almost non-existent. Dinner and breakfast , that was much below a French standard. Big international hotel close to an airport and no international breakfast was dissapointing. The shuttle timetable doesn´t work.
