this is our 3rd stay at the villa mazarin. the staff is always very friendly helpful and eager to speak english, which we greatly appreciate. we love this hotel and consider it a home away from home. the rooms are cozy and decorated beautifully and the breakfast is something we think about all year long! (the breakfast manager this year was a delightful young woman who gave us excellent service!).

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and very helpful. Our room was clean and much larger than I expected from a hotel room in Paris. We also had three garden windows in our room that opened up to overlook the street. Location of hotel, size of room. The power went out on the block for about 5.5 hours and the manager was very accommodating; however, the next day when my brothers wanted him to fix the heating in their room he wasn't as friendly as he had been during the black out. They never did get the heat above 19C and only provided more blankets. Overall though it was a very pleasant experience.The location was spot on: just on the corner of Rue du Rivoli, across the Hotel de Ville metro station. There was a patisserie down the street though that was cheaper and very good.A bit noisy at night. I felt weird asking for ice all the time but thats not a negative on them. They cheerfully brought me some.Our room faced on to a very noisy street and this did affect the quality of our sleep. Although there was aircondition, we could not get the temperature of the room higher, only colder, so it became cold in the night and i had to wear clothes instead of pyama. The staff came and took a look at it and said that it should be working, only to be patient. Unfortunately it didn't became any warmer even though we waited for a long time.small foyer. Being so centrally located, the area is very active. When the windowsare shut, noise is not a problem. We were here in July and the weatherwas quite warm. You can't sleep with the windows open as the streetnoise is bad. There is ac - so it's really not a big issue.The street rooms are a little bit noisy, but with closed windows its OK. Room in need of some maintenance.A little pricey compared to some of the other small hotels in the area but we think it was worth the extra cost because of the quality of this hotel. We had to activate the power fuse of the air-conditioning ourselves -with 30 degrees Celcius!. At the time of our stay some flooring and decoration works were being carried out. Although it did not affect us I think that we should have been made aware of the possibility that the work was being done. no pressure on water for sink on bathroom, but shower working ok. After the first night the room wasn't cleaned until late afternoon, and first after we complained about it. A strange thing was that we got bathrobes day 1, but not day 2 and 3. When we asked about it we didn't really get any good answer just "sometimes you get them and sometimes you don't". Not a big deal but still quite unusual for a quality hotel. noise from the street. Room decor and furniture is tired (marks on furniture and walls, broken handbasin). Unreasonably expensive. Fair size room, but not convenient, designed, ecqupped and maintained without respect to the client.

The bar and restaurant the Salon Mazarin is open Monday to Friday from 15:00 to 23:00 and Saturday and Sunday from 12:00 to 23:00. Room service is also available.

The Villa offers a discrete entry, which gives the tone: confidentiality, discretion, safety and comfort. Our personnel will make your reception special and will take care of your needs. You will pass through our nicely planted and flowered courtyard. Our large elevator, which can take up to 8 persons, will take you along to your floor: green, blue, red or brown. Original paintings in the corridors will welcome you in your new residence for the time of your stay in Paris.
The Villa is entirely non-smoking and pets are not allowed.

The Villa is few meters away from the Hotel de Ville’s car park, one of the largest in Paris.

We are 10 minutes walk from “Châtelet” station wich is one of the biggest interconnecting centres of transports for Bus, RER, Metro and Taxis.
