Great location and friendly, helpful staff. This apt is just a few blocks from the Louvre, but it is located in a quiet backstreet. Since we were traveling with our two children, this was a better and cheaper option than a hotel. We rented the "cozy" studio (4th floor walk-up) but we were upgraded to the larger, 2nd floor "urban" on the second day because the hot water heater broke. The building manager spoke English and took the time to show us how everything worked (washer-drier, WIFI, TV).
all reviews » Very good location in center of Paris All sights within walking distance. But difficult to find the hotel without navigator. If you have heavy luggage you can ask hotel staff bring it to your room, because there is a no elevator. Rooms are very nice with all what you need. Near the hotel you can find many restaurants. I very recommend restaurant with kitchen of Lyon's region. The hotel is located right in the centre of paris a couple of hundred meters from major landmarks. 2 Metro stations are just 5 minutes away on foot. The manager Shihab was great in his response to our needs & helped us remotely get into the hotel at nearly midnight as our flight from London was delayed by more than an hour. The host made us feel very welcome and was happy to show us local supermarket, shopping etc. The location was ideal which made everything we wanted to visit was within walking distance. We had the Cosy apartment on 4th floor which was well equipped for our stay. We would definitely stay again if we are ever in Paris again!. Our concierge Shi'ab was amazing. He was very friendly and helpful. Carried all our bags up the stairs (no elevator) and ensured our apartment was comfortable. The apartment itself was amazing with all the ammenities you could want. It had all the facilities one would need for a family stay. i like the design of the room so much all the facility was available for as , staff was very helpful and very clean . even there is a small kitchen with all facility . A portable air-conditioner was provided, which meant window had to be open! But nights cool enough without it. Original booking was for penthouse for all of us, but a mix-up meant we were in 2 apartments (no extra charge by friendly management - thank you) so no problem. It is a bit hard to find, there is no sign on the building. The hotel does not have a lift & the staircase is very narrow. It is quite difficult to haul baggage up the stairs. Nothing to dislike!. No free parking. The staircase (does not have lift) leading to upper floors is extremely narrow & hauling up our bags was a big task. The hotle manager helped us though in doing so. nothing every thing is ok. Would not recommend apartment on 3rd floor for older people- 63 steps! Shower leaked - easily mended. Could have used more seating space for meals made/eaten at home. No elevator - and we were on the 5th fl. not so good window view;). A little bit lack of maintenance (Windows). The double bed was a bit lumpy. The washing machine did not work, but the gentleman that worked there did the laundry for us. There was no clothes drier. There was only one toilet. Without a lift it was very hard to climb 5 stairs. Street noise, inadequate small portable air-conditioner, no microwave or oven. Double booked the first night so had to change apartments after first night. Noisy air-conditioning. The Residence is on tiny one-way street - quite grubby, but that's cities. The entrance hall was very scruffy and our hearts fell; the shabby state of stairs and walls didn't help, but nice surprise to open door to first apartment (No 1) and see clean, modern flat. Stairs are narrow and winding - the man who met us carried all our bags up though. Might be a problem for someone with health problems. I (nearly 70)was on 4th floor and just decided it would be part of getting fitter. Worn down and pour quality in furniture etc. Thin walls. The residence hasn't elevator and this can be a problem for the people and the furniture inside the apartment were tired. Every thing staircase , no aircondition , no parking , the noise , the unsafe windows , the narrow street , and I left after one night and booked a 4star hotel 3.5 km away in the same price .
