Stayed here for 5 nights with two teenage kids. This was a great place to come back to at the end of the day. The street and neighborhood were quiet (then again it was in the middle of August in Paris). The rooms were very clean and comfortable. All the staff we dealt with were friendly and helpful. It's definitely trying to establish a certain style. No problem with that, made it interesting.
all reviews » From the soft colors and natural material to the beautiful orchide in the room, the "ecolo syle" rooms were exactly as they described them! The staff was very helpful and most of them spoke fairly good English; the breakfast was excellent (with five different kinds of cheese, bacon, cereals, fresh juice, eggs, great croissant and coffee). 5 min walk to Bastille metro and Gare de Lyon. Very friendly helpful staff. Made us very welcome and nothing was too much trouble. Nice clean room, lots of room and good facilities. Welcome glass of Champagne was a nice touch. Friendly staff. Complimentary glass of champagne on arrival. Comfortable, cool rooms. Great location near to Metro station so access to rest of Paris is good.I was very impressed with the staff, especially the honesty of the cleaning staff and the graciousness of the desk and breakfast service staff. the staff is very good,helpful and polite.,very cosy rooms...everything was good!!!!!!!! nice breakfast and very stylish hotel. For parking, we used the the Vinci Park on Blvd de la Bastille around the corner from the hotel. Pefectly good parking garage and they offer a good rate if you park more than 3 days, but you have to ask for it when you enter!!! or they charge you the day rate when you leave. Toiletries and glasses covered in plastic in the bathroom were very old fashioned and i would not expect to see this in a hotel of this standard. I think they should be more upmarket and chic. This spoiled what was a lovely bathroom in all other respects. ..... only that there were no tea/coffee making facilities in the room. Not sure if this is not the done thing in France but missed a cup of coffee first thing before going down to breakfast. I have a hard time getting used to the small hotel rooms common in European cities.staff didnt speak very good in english,but if i explained something not fast,they usually understanded what i wanted from them!!!!. first they gave us the lousiest room (1st floor, next to elevator) and we had to ask them to change room, wich they did....this was wrong because the service in all other aspects is great.Would have been good to have a bar area/restaurant and a better view!. Rooms are rather small, but are comfortable enough.The lack of a bar to drink something in the evening. The room was a bit small. would of liked a bar for getting to know other visitors. The buffet breakfast was under par. Room size, albeit this is Paris... An extra foot wide would have made it perfect! The breakfast, though there is good choice of breads and pastries, could use real eggs, instead of the powder ones to make scrambled eggs... A spa would have really suited this 4stars boutique hotel. Price a bit over the real value.The dining room where the breakfast was served was very noisy. Lack of pamphlets, information on Paris and tours available.Double room is two single beds pushed together. Invest in some double beds!. Breakfast has to be more organized and to have a better selection offood. Would be better if the staff had been able to advise us more on what todo in Paris. Room size was very small.
